I'm as down on twitter as ed was on 5/6/10:

“You can’t fucking Twitter – I hate that shit.”

and this morning, I heard movie theaters were "embracing" the idea of social media areas (in the theater) so that you could tweet out during a movie. fuck me.

still......please answer my question :D

    It's something people add to Twitter posts that adds it to a list of other posts with the same hash tag. I think it makes it easier to search for a specific topic. You could add #PJ20 to your post and it would show up with the other "trending topics." What I hate the most about Twitter is the way it's become something that news channels, TV shows, sodas, etc. all desperately want to be able to say, "We're trending on Twitter" and they shove whatever hash tag they want you to use down your throat. It reminds me of middle school and they all really, really, really want to be the cool kids.

    Wait, like a kiosk for it or some shit? If so, that is the fucking dumbest idea ever. If they continue to play those messages about "turning off your cellphone" then I'm calling them out on the hypocrisy. :twisted:

    I'm not on FB. I just tweet. Based on all the crap my wife goes through on FB, the best part about Twitter is that I don't know any of the people I follow or that follow me. There are a few but not many at all.
