I was wondering what is the effect in the second part of Mikes solo? Thanks in advance :D

  • I'm almost certain he's using a fuzz pedal, with his guitar switched to the "neck" position, along with the tone "rolled off." The harmonized part is just a 2nd track (Stone plays it live...).

    I agree with this. I know the harmonized part is actually harmonized. The main part might have a smidge of modulation, but I think there's some fuzz to give it a little bite. Always reminded me of Marc Ford's Southern Harmony JCM800 tone, too.
