No threads on the new Roots album huh?

It's pretty fantastic, best album of theirs in quite a while. For those out of the loop it's a concept album about the fictional "Redford Stephens" It follows his life from Death to Birth.

I can see myself listening to this album for quite a while, alternating with "El Camino"

Anyone else pick this up?

i'm quite often guilty of being prisoner of the moment, but i just listened to this album and i would say that it is far and away the best roots album these ears have ever heard. i can see this being one of my favorite hip hop albums ever. great stuff, can't wait to listen to it again and again and again.

Have this waiting at home for me when I get back on Friday :D. Glad to hear that it's been getting really good reviews!

I absolutely love The Roots, they by far at the top of my list of bands that I've yet to see live.

Also picked up the Wake Up album with John Legend when Ii ordered undun. Anybody know if that's a good album too?
