PJ song title poem

I couldn’t sleep last night and was getting bored around 2 am, so I created this poem using all PJ song titles. I allowed myself 3 letters in between songs, just so it made some sort of sense. If anyone else wants to give it a shot, or has done this before, I’d love to read! It was fun to do... although it didn’t help with the sleep problem!

The Faithfull
Black amongst the waves
in the moonlight,
an animal undone,
just a girl alone in my tree,
in hiding;
a low light comatose on a big wave.
Present tense to soon forget
a habit--all or none.
All these yesterdays, now parting ways,
a ghost around the bend.
I wash my severed hand and smile,
I’m thumbing my way
to save you.
Just breathe, hold on,
you are a rival of blood and breath.

Exactly! All this only after descending from the tree!
(I'm always glad when nobody waves..... )
  • Very nice! This is a game we should all play, instead of dreaming up setlists or ranking albums. Here is my shot at it.

    Inside job
    Alone in my tree
    Low light, thin air
    Nothing as it seems

    Driftin, let me sleep
    In hiding all night
    Can’t keep comatose
    A breath and a scream
I’m open, push me, pull me

    Sometimes hard to imagine
    Leaving here, parting ways
    All or none, indifference gone
Alive in the moonlight, I am mine
Faithful you are who you are
you're god and you've got big hands

Nice! I especially like the last two line. It's pretty fun to do, isn't it? I might try it with a couple other bands.
