...but you might want to talk to The Black Keys before the next ticket pre-sale. I just got my tickets for opening night and it was the easiest, non-Ticketmaster pre-sale I've ever used. Very quick and easy process.

  • Really?
Ive been in the virtual waiting room since 10am.

but the fact that they added a "try again" button to click with your mouse, rather than forcing you to pound the hell outta your F5 key is a nice touch.

Yeah, because the Black Keys fan base is about the same size as PJ...should be just as easy.

When this many people want tickets, there will always be a waiting room. What was better about the Keys presale is that once you're in, you're in. There is no "BUT WAIT I JUST HAD THEM IN MY CART!!!!!!"
That is the only issue I have with 10C's sales is that you can have tickets one minute and the next, your face gets ripped off. That being said,,,I have full faith in you 10C :)

I would guess that the Black Keys have a larger fan base (more demand for tix) than Pearl Jam at the moment. Pearl Jam has more die-hard fans, but the BK are huge right now. Of course I'm basing this on no facts

As a longtime observer of the forums and a lifelong PJ fan I have always been hesitant to join the 10c due to the many complaints I have read about being a member. Last night, I finally decided to join for the first time and I hope that I am not let down. I always figured I can get great seats via other avenues, such as Stubhub or Ebay. Who knows, maybe I still will have to however, I now feel even more connected to the greatest band on earth which is what I believe joining a fan club is all about not what it can do for you personally in terms of bonuses. I understand people's frustrations and obviously, people are entitled to discuss them here but, let's try and keep perspective on really what the 10c is all about! Thanks and I look forward to being involved more.

Welcome! The online aspect of the club can be frustrating, but I find everything else more than worth it. Hopefully you do to!

  • There is no way in HELL the Black Keys have as much one day demand for tickets as PJ.
This is based on as many non-facts as the OP.

My point exactly. I was able to get EV Solo Night 1 in Chicago this summer via ticketmaster for face value. For PJ20 at Alpine I had no issue with hanging on the lawn both days and was able to get tickets easily as well. I have been fortunate in my quest for tickets to all the shows I have been to. But, I can imagine the refreshing can be frustrating.
  • 10c sale sucks, we all know that ;) and I am sure they are not doing anything to make next sale better...I hate to say this.....I wish I was wrong  and I don't understand why???

btw...I want to see TBK so bad :D

While PJ does likely have a much bigger fan base, the 10C presales are limited to PAID 10C members only. Anyone who just picked up a Black Keys record yesterday can join the mailing list for free and participate in the pre-sale. As hot as the Keys are right now, I'd be willing to bet there were just as many people trying to get tickets through that presale today as there typically are on here.
