Yep, the PJ vinyl's are priced pretty steep these days... I'd keep looking before I caved and spent that kind of money on them. The most I for anything was $150 for a sealed Lost Dogs but that was like 18 months ago. Good luck in your search and I'll keep my eyes open for you for reasonably priced stuff... I'm assuming you want all the full lengths?0

Try www.musicstack.com . You can usually pick stuff up significantly cheaper than e-bay. Good luck0

is it worth even trying to preorder pj20 from one of these sites claim to be able to get it0

Welcome to the vinyl world..Are you only interested in pj vinyl or are you going all in?.....It might be a good idea to actually call or email, where ever you might preorder pj20 from, and ask questions before you order...I ain't got no fly'n shoes..0 -
all but pj to start0

I started my pj collection about 6 months ago. Ive managed to grab copies of everything except for Benny & RVM. The best thing that has come out of this quest is the relationships I've formed on the LD forum.
So many great people on here & people I'll be friends with for years:).
Good luck0 -

WOW, really? I think that's about when I started too, and I'm missing a few more and I thought I was doing great
OP, I got most of mine from a combination of eBay, Amazon and here. I actually got a really good deal on Lost Dogs and LO2L from eBay from the same guy but I think he might have been a 10c member, and I think I got RVM from here for way lower than what I should have gotten it for too. Definitely follow the prices before you purchase. Also, if you don't need them sealed, they will be cheaper.
Good luck!0 -
Welcome to the wonderful world of PJ vinyl hunting! I agree, check the Lost Dogs forum, and yes you will make some great friends! Are you going to be searching for all of the 7" singles, xmas stuff, etc too? Or just the albums? I'm like white d above, have all except Benaroya and live on 2 legs. And my holy grail, '91 let me sleep.
Oh and if my girlfriend can give you some advice, don't become TOO obsessed on your quest, you'll start ignoring the important stuff. Cheers!0 -
Suzie I can't compete with your hospitality tho, You're a good woman! what do u need, get me RVM:).

You're not bad yourselfHaha, not parting with my RVM but will keep an eye out for you. I think it was just really good timing on my part. Still looking for Binaural and Avocado, but I think I'm taking a break for now.. need to save up for EURO 2012!!!

I myself am a vinyl virgin and have started my collection. Someone was kind enough to send me the holiday single, I've ordered PJ20, Ukelele Songs, and a box set with Ten, Vs and Vitalogy to get me started. I've also asked my folks for a record player for my 30th birthday!PJ Manchester MEN - 20.06.12
PJ Manchester MEN - 21.06.12
EV Manchester O2 Apollo - 28.07.12
PJ Leeds Arena - 08.07.140 -
Oh, and go grab the 2004, 2008 and 2009 Christmas singles that are still in Goods. Just have to pay for shipping. Under "Holiday Singles" in Goods. You'll be looking for these later if you don't get them now and this is the best deal you are going to get for them0

The 08,09 singles are they cd or vinyl they are in the specials section but not the vinyl0

They are vinyl..
Go to the goods section and scroll down to "holiday singles" on the left.. You'll see all three that are available... You will have to order each one separate though.I ain't got no fly'n shoes..0 -

can't hurt....
i would avoid those that have are cancelling orders tho81 is now off the air0 -
hope you enjoy your vinyl hunting and get all the stuff you want--- you will find in the Lost Dogs section that there are many Avocado there, and one found a Riot Act at 99.99 in a retailer, opened, but it seems it has never been spun.... the prices on the bay are high, but I don't consider them as expensive, it depends on how important to you is getting that vinyl, and of course, if you can afford it... I stared to complete my PJ vinyl collection 3 years ago, I mean, to purchase many I want, I don't want them all, I can't afford it, and you have to draw a line at some point, what I was interested was Binarual, Riot Act and Lost Dogs, it was 2009, at the time I spent 200, 100 and 200 USD respectively... I would like to get RVM but it will have to wait for the time being, and I'm giving up acquiring Benaroya Hall vinyl, unless I win the lotery... so all the previous vinyl before backspacer are that high...
and once you are done with PJ vinyl collection, or meanwhile, you can get many others, for instance, all Led Zeppelin, I have all ACDC albums in vinyl, you you can start with Back in Black, and then get all the previous one, The Beatles White Album would be a nice pieace of your collection, the same as Paranoid by Black Sabbath and Machine Head by Deep Purbple, and Burn as well, I strongly recommend Rust in peace and Countdown to extinction by Megadeth instead of Metallica's Black Album... someone else will give you a better advice regarding The Rolling Stones and bands of the 80's than me, of course, if you like PJ, you can use some Ramones albums, let's skip the 90's for obvious reasons... and from this past decade, I suggest that you get some vinyl by Arcade Fire and Fleet Foxes...
once again, enjoy your vinyl hunting...... I am not in the business of being liked anymore ...0 -

I'm only now starting to get back into it after just starting earlier this year with a few records and then taking a break because I got busy. It's an addiction!! Every time I go to the store there are so many things I want. Even tomorrow I am so excited to go to the store to purchase the vinyl of an album I've been listening to for months! I'll probably come out of there with at least 3-4 records.
