Bring Pearl Jam to Darwin

Just going to put this out there early in case of a 2012 Australian tour. I have found myself living in a wonderful relaxed piece of this awesome country of ours, Darwin. Where the only major downfall is it is ages away from everywhere else in Australia.
I missed the EV tour 2011 because I was a little tied up becoming a solider at the end of my training I was posted up here to Darwin, I couldn't have wanted anything less. But as a glass half full kind of guy I've made the best of it. we have beautiful weather, never cold, awesome storms and the people up here are so relaxed (because it's to hot not to be). The night life is so good it takes me back to the 90's when you could still see live bands everywhere. in the main street in Darwin where all the clubs are you can see live bands in at least 10 places, this in it's self is a rear jewel for Australia now days.
However because of Darwin being so far away from everything this wonderful little city never gets bands touring. So I ask next time Pearl Jam are in our part of the world, drop in, play a show, have a beer and see the most relaxed city in Australia.

Hey Im with you! Darwin is fantastic, have visited twice, and totally have a loveaffair with this bueat of a town!!!
To see Pearl Jam in Darwin would be an absolute dream.
I realise getting bands to come to smaller cities like Darwin must be a challenge, but then again, South America, Costa Rica, etc is probably not a walk in the park either, in regards to logistics, security etc.
Darwin; im sure would make a beautiful, energizing, happy, and welcome place for our favourite band to visit.
PEARL JAM; PLEASE PLAY DARWIN, NT, AUSTRALIA!!!
Signed; One who loves Darwin, and PJ, a match made beautiful in the the Top End

No come on, does the moon have a beautiful tropical coastal town, adjacent to one of the most interesting and unique national parks on THIS planet? Kakadu if you haven´t visited offers aweinspiring vistas of waterways and ancient escarpments.
Have Eddie, Mike, Jeff, Stone and Matt, maybe Boom also, treck through the bushland, arrive at the riverbed and
like I did float on air mattresses amongst crocs ( in this case, mostly harmless to humans, as sweet water crocs.)Down the small creek to arrive at; Twin Falls.
Or go bushwalking with an Aboriginal guide, visiting places that has rockpaintings in excess of 60,000 years. camping out at night sleeping on the ground in a swag, and maybe having a certain German co-adventerurer stealing all the oranges at night... (Sorry...not part of the narrative but I had to let that one out, so annoying)
Or just barely between the two shows they would play have a few days off and enjoy the local nightlife, and absolutely wonderful people, that are the locals of the capital of the Top End.
Seriously; Going to Australia, and not taking the time (and small effort, nowadays with cheap airliners) to visit the Top End, have really not sensed and experienced the essence of Australia-
Pearl Jam, please, take a little more time and effort next time. Oh and make next time, real soon yeah?

That would be awesome.
I'd definitely change whatever plans I have to come to beautiful Darwin to watch PJ there.
It wouldn't be a bad idea to do something like Benaroya Hall in Darwin! Now, that would be epic!
Should start a petition, it does work! Newcastle was one of their best concerts ever, and it started with a petition."...take care of a couple of requests...one is from last night...I don't know if you are here again tonight...this first one...I'm not gonna tell you!"
EV Adelaide 22-11-2006 ... yep I was there ... THANKS!0 -

Would be great to see them up in Darwin... and I haven't ever been either so would give me an excuse to goI don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!0

never thought I would find someone who loves storms as much as I do...
