New Membership options coming before end of the year

As my membership is up in December but can't be renewed until January, I asked 10c what I should do. They told me that:
"Otherwise you can wait until closer to the end of the year when the new membership options are available."

Debataing renewing now vs later even though I won't be a member for a week or so...just don't want another analog shirt...

wonder what the new membership options will be??

That probably means we will have to shell out even more $$.

Hmmm... just renewed this week. However, I did that last year too, and they still let me do Analog so I could get the goodies. We'll see.
  • What could the new options be?
  • Hopefully it's digi membership plus holiday single for $25

Mine is up this month, too (22nd). Last year, I renewed the day after Thanksgiving, which was about 2 weeks before they changed the membership options. When I asked 10C about this, they said that I would still retain all the perks of the fan club as was defined when I renewed. This meant that I would still get the hardcopy of Deep in the mail, as well as the fan club vinyl. (And they kept their word, I got them.) Was bummed that I didn't get the t-shirt, but the music is the more important to me.

Thus, for $20, I basically got all the perks of the now $40 analog membership, minus the t-shirt. So, it might actually be a good idea to renew now, before they start sticking you for more money. If you renew as an analog member now, they will have to honor all the perks as they are currently defined.

Of course, I'm kind of intrigued as to what the new options will be.

Based on the numerous times the vault was mentioned on AET and the Vault #1 cd distributed at PJ20, I wonder if the new membership options might include a subscription to the vault in some way. Maybe a specific number of shows on cd and possibly DVD will be released each month/year going forward once the vault is opened??
  • How much would you pay to be on an auto-reserve list for limited ed. items?

I thought about this also but with the amount of people that would utilize this membership option, it wouldn't be worth it. IMO

if money is the issue, wouldn't you get the three months grace period? or doesn't that work any longer?

How so? If 10,000 people buy access to limited edition items, how would it be worth it? Not everyone would get the item and if they did make 1 per member it wouldn't be so limited now would it?

Hey dyer, you didn't get the analog shirt last year because it didn't start until January. So, when you renew this year you will get that shirt that everyone else got. Unless you don't go analog of course.

New membership options? I hope they don't raise the price again, $40 is expensive enough as it is. :?

I heard they are gonna base your membership cost by how many forum posts you have made.
