Can anyone suggest a decent (fairly cheap) smartphone?

Not looking for a iphone 4s or Samsung Galaxy. Probably like a step down from these, but still pretty awesome. Feedback would be appreciated.

    AT&T has a sale on some refurbs right now. iPhone 4 for 99 bucks or an iPhone 3gs for 1 penny.
