Messier sat across from me on the A train after the show. He was with 2 other guys and holding a Liam Finn CD. I was shocked to see him on the subway, but no one else seemed to recognize him.

Yeah, don't you remember Ed loved the movie so much that he wanted to be Bardem's character for Halloween when "No country for Old Men" came out but thought nobody would get who he was going for, so he changed his mind?

I do not remember this, but I support Eddie having a man-bob if he wants it.

Whoa! What a great story. How is that possible no one recognized him? I'm not a big hockey fan but I'd know him if I saw him!

I met Jim James across the street form the theatre at that little mexican restaurant. There were a good amount of PJ fans in there and nobody noticed him. Right before my friends and I were leaving we ended up talking to him for awhile. He was very cool, even offered us some food.

Also shook Messier's hand out front right before the show. Then saw him again at the merch stand after.

very cool....about 12 years ago i worked with someone whose family is very close with the Messier's. I hear he is one of the most humble star athletes ever! So, not surprised he took the subway!!

funny, he acknowledged Leech at the garden show (but in error referring to him as #11 which, of course is Messier)....didnt see Brian in Hartford, though i was looking...

Who said the show was affected? You need to chill the _____ out. I was pumped to meet Jim James and then Messier. Made the evening even more memorable.

But feel free to continuing begin a negative person. I hope that works out for you.

I met mark Messier on the way out - said "You have incredible taste in music, and you're not a bad hockey player either" he laughed and we talked about the show for a little bit and he shook my hand. awesome experience.

I offered him one of my home made cookies but he said the raisins were overpowering and he didn't get a sense of who I was as a chef based on the texture of the oatmeal.

    *shame*

What up? What you change/lose your old screen name?

I had unbelievable luck this past month. Lotto MSG2, 2nd row center. The Ed night row 3rd row far left. 2nd night 4th row dead center. Met Jim James and then Mark Messier. Awesome 2 days!

My friends saw you night 1 but by the time they told me I didnt see you. I am sure I'll bump into you one of these days.

Springsteen was def. there with his son. Row KK on the isle, on the right side of the theater. He came in 10 minutes late and left 10 minutes early. He sat 1 row behind Jim James and 2 rows behind Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon.
  • I'm not trying to spread rumors, but there was talk that Jeff Ament was around and hanging out with Eddie on his bus after the show. Once again, it's completely unsubstantiated; did anyone else hear this? I was really psyched at the possibility of meeting him, since I wore my Jeff Ament shirt last night!

I heard this guy was there

    http://walterfootball.com/images/fball/look1306.jpg

He apparently had a T-shirt that read "Shooter" on it, yelled out "Let's go Yankees", and basically acted like a complete dickbag the entire show.
