Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds Live at Radio City album

No secret that I'm a huge DMB/Dave fan, they're my number 2 after Pearl Jam. Was listening to this album earlier and every time I listen I am just floored by how nearly flawless it is in my opinion. Dave's voice is really pure and so on point and Tim just does what he does best and shreds the whole night! Even if you aren't the biggest DMB fan, I think everyone should take a listen- its a whole different beast than a DMB performance. Any other fans of this release in particular?

Highlights for me:
#41- one of my favorite performances of my favorite DMB song :)
Down By The River- astounding rendition
Bartender- perfect way to open the show, the intro to that song always gives me chills
Lie in Our Graves- lots of fun, Tim is a beast
Crush- beautiful and again, Tim is a beast
Eh Hee- awesome to hear it so differently than DMB does it, and its a good different!

I have both the Radio City and Las Vegas live albums, and I always find myself going back to listen to Radio Hall...I can't get enough of "Down By The River" and "Eh Hee"!

Vegas is another great release! Nice to have an official release containing some Big Whiskey stuff. But I agree, Radio City to me is my go-to D&T release, it's just perfect to me!

Have you given Live at Luther College a listen? Another great one!

Right there with you man, what an incredible performance! Down By the River gives me chills and it has my favorite version of Eh Hee. Got to see them do a couple songs at the Caravan over the summer, but I would love to catch them in a smaller venue. Maybe one day!

Nice! Which Caravan did you go to? I was only able to go to day 3 of the Atlantic City one, but it was beyond awesome, the set was absolutely amazing! (Still kicking myself for not bussing home for the Randall's Island one!!) And it was the closest I've ever been to the stage-- the dude behind me even caught one of Carter's drum sticks! Was gonna half-joke with him and that the only the gentleman thing to do to would be to give me the drum stick- but I knew it wouldn't work, especially when he wrestled for it with another girl instead of letting her have it

Yeah, the AC setlists looked great! I went all 3 days in Chicago, had a blast all 3 days even though it was hotter than hell! That's awesome that you were able to get so close! The first 2 nights I stood toward the back and made my way up on the 3rd night. What a bumout when that weekend ended. Did you guys get the Lips too? They did the Dark Side of the Moon, that was probably my 2nd favorite part of that weekend.

I believe they played on a day where I wasn't there :( Would have LOVED to see them, big fan of Wayne and the Lips. The artists I caught other than DMB were: Pete Kilpatrick Band, Dawes, Fitz & The Tantrums, Dr. Dog, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals and David Gray. What a fun day of great music! Hope they do more of these Caravan festivals in the future!

I absolutely love this album. Bartender is an amazing set opener, Eh Hee is breathtaking, Don't Drink the Water is spectacular and the rest of the performance is great too. Dave's voice is nearly perfect. The DVD is how I first heard (saw) this performance, and it is easily the best way to enjoy the full experience of this show. Love it!
