just shown on WTTW!

During Jeffrey Baer's, "Chicago's Loop: A New Walking Tour" he is standing in front of the Chicago Theater Marquee and you can see over his shoulder "Jam presents Eddie Vedder" 8-)

Just thought I'd share for those that love EV, Chicago and watch these wonderful PBS shows!

That's fantastic! It was great standing by the Chicago Theater with that beautiful marquee, watching tour buses go by and all the tourists snapping pictures of it...ah, memories...

was it spelled correctly? I passed the theatre the day before the 1st show and the marquee said Edwin Vendern (something very similar to that) I couldn't take a photo in time, I was at the light at State and Lake. This was at 6:00 a.m. on the 27th...I know they got it figured out pronto!!! Saw the 2nd show as well!

I walk by a few times a day and never noticed this. It could be possible that they put up the names early in the morning and put the letters in the name first, then organize it into correct order? I can't imagine a theatre with this much foot/street traffic would screw up ANY artists name

I have to agree with you about them organizing the letters after they get em up! Mabye they have 3 different people working 3 different sides of the Marquee and someone had to proofread the one that was facing south! Either way it was all squared away by the time I got there!
