12/2 update:

For folks still looking, these are going up on darkhallmansion.com between 9-11AM PST.

Regular ($75): http://www.darkhallmansion.com/?gallery ... rd-edition
Variant ($125): http://www.darkhallmansion.com/?gallery ... nt-edition
Silver Bells ($250): http://www.darkhallmansion.com/?gallery ... el-edition

All on one page: http://darkhallmansion.3dcartstores.com/

It currently says "out of stock" but it's not the case (read the print on each of these pages). I guess when they are up, the "out of stock" will go away. Looks like the links are all already working so you might want to pull them up and periodically refresh. :D

Yes, I know, I'm in trouble, I have full blown posteritis

In case anyone is interested for their little ones or someone elses (or for themselves!), this was posted on Inside The Rock Poster Frame:

Dark Hall Mansion is most happy to bring collectors this season the ULTIMATE Christmas classic, Charles M Schulz’ 1965 masterpiece “A Charlie Brown Christmas” brilliantly interpreted by artist Tom Whalen.

They’ve expanded the release size but based on the enormous turnout for our Great Pumpkin they’re expecting an even larger demand given the place “A Charlie Brown Christmas” holds in all our collective memories. There simply is NO greater Christmas classic and Tom Whalen has again outdone himself in rendering this official Peanuts release for DHM.

There will be 3 Editions:

450 Standard Edition
100 Variant Edition
50 Silver Bells Edition (on metal with Variant image imprinted as was our special metal Great Pumpkin release)

eMoviePoster.com will release all 3 editions Thursday, 12/1/11 at a random morning hour. Please visit them at http://www.eMoviePoster.com where on Thurs, 12/1 a specific section of their homepage will direct buyers to a dedicated page for everyone to easily checkout and complete purchases of their “A Charlie Brown Christmas” via Paypal or credit card.

The next day, Friday, 12/2, Dark Hall Mansion will also release all 3 Editions in their Store with Paypal Buy-Now buttons appearing at a random hour that morning for direct checkout.

Kind of funny - the Metal one probably winds up being cheaper because you probably use a simple wooden frame (if that) or something (not that I'm an expert) as opposed to needing matting, etc. to do the other ones up right.

And if this were a PJ poster, that metal thing would have been gone before it went on sale.

I got the regular version but have yet to get any kind of email confirmation. Is there any way you can check order history on that site?

I couldn't figure it out :( It's showing up as a pending charge on my credit card so I think it's OK. Wish I'd grabbed a screenshot fo the receipt or something before I closed out. I just emailed them to check.

Yes, i got the screen that said my order was processed and that the poster would ship whenever received from the artist. IDK.

I went with the regular version which I think was much nicer looking than the variant. The Bells edition was just too much money, but Im sure would look awesome in person.

I also got the standard version. Thought about getting the variant but I don't like the colours on it. I was very tempted by the Bells but $250 is awfully steep! And they still have those variant colours I don't love. :D
  • If anyone is having buyers remorse..i'd be glad to take one of these off your hands :D pm me
