How is it? Has anyone found it in Texas? I haven't seen it yet, and we get all kinds of Dogish Head beer here.

    Average beer, cool bottle.

  • We get zero dogfish here, but I did receive a nice package last weekend...2 bottles.
I agree the beer is nothing that will knock your socks off, but still it is enjoyable...of course I'm not the harshest judge of brews either ;)
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
  • my wife really liked it... she typically drinks mich ultra if she's doing beer.

i thought it was tasty, but i may have been blinded by the label.

The beer sucks...Dogfishead can do soooo much better. It tastes flat, and to get any of the flavor you have to drink it at like 50 degrees (which I don't mind). If there's a new batch coming they need to pound it with the berries. I think they knew we'd all buy it and didn't try this time around.

I didn't find the beer to be too bad, however I'm not a craft beer guy. It does taste better as it gets warmer.

real beer should always be served at or around this temp.

Agreed. It's not bad but probably my least favorite DFH.

  • I'm a beer snob, and I think it's a really good beer. It's not over the top like many DFH beers - it's a good sipper that goes well with food and is a pleasure to drink 25 oz of. I understand I'm in the minority in liking Faithfull.

true I always keep a can of Natty Light on the floor of my basement and in my golf bag "for emergencies". more seriously you are correct warmer beer generally tastes better.

I personally like either a very dark or very hoppy beer, so I am not a huge fan of it. It's a 7%, which also kind of disappointed me. I'd buy it just for the bottle though, I think it's worth the $13 bucks!

I liked the interview with the Dogfish Head owner. To try and make a drinkable beer that incorporates the flavors of a Pinot Noir and "Mexican Lager" was a challenge. I can understand why it isn't their best creation. But I am still on the hunt for one. If anyone knows where to find them in Texas, PM me.

Tastes like beer  Nice bottle though.

I don't generally drink beer so I can't say I'm that surprised that I didn't love it. When I do drink beer, I like the Belgian kind. Like Delirium Tremens (smacking lips)

On tap I thought it was very good, in the bottle I thought it was okay. I never experienced that big of a difference between the two.

I've had it and enjoyed it although it's much lighter than you're typical DFH.

I have never had any DFH. I like 'red' beer typically

Faithfull Ale I found to be slighty hazy, a fuller but light taste. Not much carbonation. That was the first bottle

Second bottle was strictly light flavor, not much carbonation.

I liked the first bottle better.

Saw somebody say that the beer tastes better after aging for a few months. But wouldn't it just go flat/taste stale? I know my beer was bottled on 10/31...says so on the box. I dunno, cool bottle though.
