blue undertones
and brown glass
dropping water on you like rain, it doesn't matter
except that this was yesterday
today the face of your smile
reflects your eyes
like you swallowed stars
traveled light their miles
came back and now you talk about it
I could listen to this as you flow
dew
days or even hours
lights before the morning
I could love you like the air
that you would turn into
the thick beauty of a song
if it ever came to this
