  • Yeah I think I've found it through that website. Thanks heaps for the link. Never seen that one before. I'll try downloading tomorrow. Hopefully it works. 25 minute version of silverfuck to close out the fourth encore sounds awesome. Really wish I could have seen them back in the day. I saw the new pumpkins in 2008 and wasn't very impressed.

That's 'coz that facsimile of the band in 2008 were awful. I saw them in 1994 (Adelaide Big Day Out), 1996 (Adelaide Entertainment Centre) and 1998 (Melbourne Rod Laver). 1994 made me a fan, 1996 was awesome from start to finish and 1998 was different and still good. 2008 was about 3 hours of guitar/drum duels that was just terrible, and fucking Jimmy was still in the band!

First time I saw them was in '97, last in '08...overall 8-10 times. They've always been a hit or miss band live; when they're off, boy is it a struggle. Really a shame since I love their stuff.

Yeah I had a listen to it through that starla.org website.... decided against downloading it. There are two audio versions on there, the slightly better one is missing half the show, the poor quality one is the full show but isn't really worth listening to with all the audience talking etc...
I saw them in 1998 (Melbourne Rod Laver).
I remember that Adore tour, I recently moved to melbourne, and I found a GA ticket in the locker quad of my school. I knew who it belonged to so I gave it back to him, that guy was such a douche, but wouldn't have felt right stealing it... Would have loved to have seen them then anyway.
