Just got back from my "trip" and I'm still just in a total state of shock. The most shocking of all is this show right here! BOSTONE 2?? This is the one to top for damn sure. I am still like somebody fuckin punch me cuze no way this show happened!!!! I am in complete and total awe. MAGIC! BOSTONE was overflowin with LOVE & MAGIC!!! :) We couldn't go to sleep all night after this EPIC show...just laying there till 4am like "wait...did that really happen?? was that real??" :D Ooooh my fuckin GOD..>WHAT A SHOW!!!!!!! I can't stop saying it, "was that real?" It's honestly taken me quite some time to be able to form words about it. Now it is time to go the hell off...
:D

Well PORCH preset had us all instantly droolin. Holy shit!!! I could not believe this was happening. I remember hearing about it being played as a preset in Toronto last year and I was totally freaking out. I finally heard the mp3 just a few months back and WOOOOW! To get to experience this first hand was mind blowing (to say the least). How extra, extra amazing does this sound acoustic??? My god. I remember turning to Kaddi during "THIS COULD BE THE DAY" and thinking "hell yeah it could"...Kaddi said "could be? it IS" I just smiled from ear to ear and could not agree more. We already knew it....TONIGHT WOULD GO DOWN IN THE BOOKS. This preset was fuckin incredible and it was just the start of it all......

The show wasted NO TIME! First things first, opening with SEVERED HAND??? \m/ Come ON! Are you fuckin kidding me?? *ass hurts already* You cannot start a show like this!!!!! Daaaamn PJ! Immediately in flames! Instant craziness. \m/ "I said FUUUUCK YEEEEAH!" <~~ yes! OMG Joey you know I say this all the time. haha. Looovin the change Eddie. ;) This song is outs control!!! I still don't understand how it is legal to kick this much ass!! It's ridiculous. I also didn't think it was possible to love the song anymore than I already did but seeing in live?!?! MY GOD! I'm even more obsessed now. Shit! Hearing the collective roar of "I SAID YEAAAH" is one of the greatest feelings on the PJ planet. *chills* One severely ass kickin song into the show and I'm already a sweaty beast! Tonight is IT!

BAM...Couduroy followed by WWS....everyone is singing their lungs out. WWS is so intense live. Jesus! The energy is off the charts. BOSTONE! What a dream come true. This crowd is so fuckin beautiful. I keep thinking, "I am sooooo grateful to be here. I am so blessed. We all are." A dream in the making for years. Wow! Thoughts arrive.... "TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT! TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT!" As if Boston 1 didn't knock me on my ass and send me away limping and grinnin!!! You could just feel it all around you, it was in the air....night 2 was going to reach even HIGHER levels of greatness. Butterflies in the tummy...

DTE!! Heeeell yeah. Bring it on 2 nights in a row baby. BOSTONE = MAD STONE LOVE on so many levels. :D GO STONEY GO! WOoooooo! **proudly holds up the sign and represents that SG LOVE**

Given to Fly! <~~~ Ed's dances are fuckin awesome!! Ala Touring Band. YES!!! LOVE IT!!! I still will never get over the way this song feels too....the way it builds and builds and then finally explodes!! Ahh! It is without a doubt one of the most super feel good PJ songs. Regardless of how often they play it, the feeling is always there and the crowd always delivers (and this crowd delivered on new levels!!!). What a feeling. :o

Dissident! Fuck yeah! It really is the 90's again. Eddie? Wowza. Oh where's my phone? haha. Pati it's your song girl!!

Even Flow! Daaaamn SEN the boys knew you were in the house cuze this shit right here was taken to out of this world places BOTH nights! Crowd and band alike...off the hook. We were LOUD AS HELL!!! Seriously...how did the roof stay on this place!? All the synchronized clappin too?! Fuckin amazing. This may just be the most I have ever enjoyed Even Flow. This and THE GORGE are way up there no doubt. The crowd in BoSTONE though??? *gasps* Jaw in floor. Wooow!

Neeext up....ahhh shit...DADA DA DA DA DA DADA DA DA!!! Ahhhh! OMG! I was bouncing all over the place as soon I heard that EXPLOSIVE opening hook. Wheeeew. My first time experiencing the religious experience that is MARKER IN THE mother fuckin SAND!!! Wooooo! *does hippie dance* Lemme just say this song knocked me out last week and I went from lovin it to loooooovin it. Seeing it live was religious. I am so obsessed now. Really. This chorus is unreal! :o I also looooove Ed's added Sad reminiscent "CHA" before "I feel a sickness..." Damn PJ! We got another super happy feel good number right here! IN LOOOOVE!!! :)

So wait, we go from MARKER into???? GET OUTTA HERE! THIS BAND IS OUT OF CONTROL! Before I even type out the name of the fuckin insanely gorgeous song lemme start off by saying that as soon as we woke up the morning of BOSTONE 2 Kaddi said "two birds is what they'll see" and told me that she had that line stuck in her head. Not only do we both share an extreme affinity for LOWLIGHT, but having both lost our fathers and having certain "visits" since , we both had this one line hitting us like never before. It totally took on a new meaning. Her hearing it as soon as she woke up , us talking about that line and how it "gets" us... fast forward to us hearing this intro that very same magical night?! Holy shit. *chills galore* We were...STUCK! Noooo way they are playing this!!! *looks up* :) They were so lookin out. Fuckin beautiful. LOWLIGHT owns such a huge part of my PJ lovin soul and each and every time that I hear it, it takes over even more. Gets me right to the core. What a beauty!! This moment nearly had me and Kaddi moved to tears. GORGEOUS!

Insignificance!!! This song ROCKS! It was nice to see it getting some love! But waait.....

ARMY RESERVE!! AHHHHHH!!!!!! *screams* I just told K earlier that afternoon that I soooo hope they bust this out. Can you believe this??? I cannot stop smiling. HELL YES! HERE IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hand on my heart, eyes closed, taking it all in....swaying back and forth....head back...lost in the music, lost in the power, lost in a trance. I cannot stress how much I adore this song...but I know some of you know and I'm sure some of you recognize me from pretty much EVERY single thread on the board about it. haha. :p I must praise it every chance I get. My goodness. This song is so fuckin powerful, moving, heartfelt, intense....Ed's vocal delivery is fierce as hell! That paired up with the story being told and how his compassionate words and voice take you there...into that family! I can't get over this song. Without a doubt one of my most fav PJ songs and one I was super, duper anxious to hear live! :D OMG! It was everything I thought it would be and MORE! This jam??! *chills from head to toe* Intoxicating. I literally felt so floaty & high as a damn kite after this shit. :o Without a doubt one of my major highlights! Actually this song will ALWAYS be a highlight no matter how many frickin times I hear it. BRING IT ON PJ! BRING IT ON! I cant get enough. What a song!! What you guys have captured here is fuckin incredible. The way it transfers live?! Oooh wow. Transcends beyond belief. Those of you are in love with the album version, just you wait! This is one hell of a high! I do think the boys should excessively jam out the end though but hey, either way....THIS SONG IS EVEN MORE PHENOMENAL live. I was already on cloud fuckin 9 and then some by this point. THANK YOU PEARL JAM!!!!! (see how much this song makes me go off!? :p )

Ed introduces the next one as the "worse case scenario" for the soldier in AR. I'm thinking oh no you are not about to play Come Back. I am prepared to cry a fuckin river.....then ba BAM...the new and in-grooved GARDEN (OF STONE) smacks me upside the head!!! OMG!! Uhhhh! It actually made me "Uhhhh" out loud because of how disgustingly SICK it was. FUCKIN ASS! Grooooved out, all chunky. Mmm mmmm mmm. Fists up in the air...the entire crowd is singing every word. The hair on my arms is standing up. The chorus, everyone puts their hands up in the air , making an X=bound. AWE-SOME! We are sooooooo loud. Kaddi and I keep pointing to Stone during the chorus. haha. Can't help it. ;) What a kick ass song! THANK YOU once again PJ for mixing it up and giving us more to love! How fuckin amazing is that?! THANK YOU! Don't make me do it again....UHHHHHHH!!!! <~~~ this is specifically for you GARDEN! You bring it out. \m/

I didn't even have enough time to catch my breath...next thing I know the beating continues with I GOT SHIT! AHHHH! YOU GUYS ARE OUT TO KILL!!! BAM BAM BAM! How can anyone deny this song? It's unbelievable. Easily one of my most listened to PJ songs. An emotional rocker that tugs at your heart but also lets you unleash that shit thats been building up! Damn! It takes care of you. Another VERY powerful one...not to mention unique as hell. I CANT BELIEVE THEY ARE PLAYING THIS after everything else that's just happened! I'm going NUTS (along with everyone else)! THE ENERGY of the breathtaking crowd is getting more and more stimulating with each and every kick ass song.

Quick RECAP so far of HOLY SHITness :

Opening with SH....MARKER and LOWLIGHT back to back and now Army Reserve >>into>> Garden >>into>> I Got shit >>into>> STATE OF LOVE AND TRUST!!!!!!!@#$#@$#!!!! THIS SONG ALWAYS SHREDS ME A NEW ONE!!!!! Fuckin LOOOVE IT! All this paired up back to back to back??!!!

You think by now the boys might let up? HA!!!! COMATOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! \m/ FISTS A FLYIN! Ummmmm.....talk about a BEAT DOWN! I don't know, I was lovin the beating on the album but live?? Like whoa! I was warned by many that it was gonna kick my ass into another dimension but nothing coulda prepared me for all this. DAAAAAMN!!! PA-POW! BEAT DOWN! K.O. Fitting title? ;) I SAID YEEEEEEEEEAH!!

Oh wow, what's this? A little break from the massive ass beating?? Whoa. Ah the enchanting lazer light show begins(this is too fuckin cool btw!)...I see a little fog on the stage, and out comes the droolworthy double neckin/double the pleasure guitar. It is now time to soak in the absolute bliss of INSIDE JOB!!!!!!!!! :o Weeeeeee. 2 nights in a row of this? Hallejullah! Twice is nice! This song is so gorgeous and inspiring. MR MCCREADY I SALUTE YOU! The hope, happiness and strength here is just beautiful. Looking around and seeing all these happy faces scream "I WILL NOT LOSE MY FAITH!" :) *chills* Human light shining brighter than ever! What a gift. You just feel so, so much all around you during this song. It's very infectious. Eternal possomists united. :)

Ok, now that we're in a trance and floating high on happy....THE BEATING MAKES A COME BACK!!! RVM! Jammed out to the max. Band is on FIYAH! Look at these guys!! Perfect way to end the first set. We are left panting for more! The encore break consists of many "HOLY FUCKIN SHIT" faces. What's next? What could possibly be next??

The boys come out, the entire venue rumbles with applause...you just feel it vibrating through you. My god BOSTONE crowds are breathtaking. I so understand why Ed has a hard on for the place. :o

Wasted Reprise! YAY! I know the song scares Kaddi (aww.hehe)but I LOVE IT! Was very thrilled to finally be hearing it live. Ed's voice is pure gold on this one. Everything we know and love about it is highlighted & spotlighted. Gorgeous.

Then right into Man of the Hour! Awwww! *tears* Just as beautiful as ever. Kaddi and I grab onto each other. Another "Daddy" moment. :(

Next up is SMall Town. DAMN WE WERE LOUD! I keep looking all around me in complete awe.

    Next???? *heart drops*

Ed "We're gonna try one that hasnt played yet....."

Oh no..oh no here it comes...........

PARACHUTES!!!!!!!!! :o:!!!! 911....ECTASY E-MER-GEN-CY! Going into orgasmic shock. AHHHH!!!!!!! NO WAY THIS IS HAPPENING!!

You guys don't understand...before I left I told all my friends that I had a feeling about BOSTONE and PARACHUTES! I really felt it there. It's crazy! *chills* Each time I think about it I'd get butterflies in my tummy. Some things you just truly feel. PJ premonitions if you will. ;) All my friends felt it for me as well. Even so, I was not ready for this. OMG!!!! I'm squeezing the hell outta Kaddi. I'm in orgasmic shock. THIS SONG IS SO FUCKIN BEAUTIFUL!!@##&% I can't believe I'm hearing it. The way is rises and falls?! The words?! The music. Ed's voice?! *melts* It's all so fuckin out of this world, drop dead gorgeous. As soon as he hits the "a wave will break on me" part I loose it and start crying. The ending always attacks extra much. The first time I heard this song I cried due to the sheer beauty of it all....now here I was hearing it live and in person and it's was even MORE overwhelmingly gorgeous than I could have ever imagined. When it ended, for some reason I felt like I had to puke! LOL!!! I'm not joking. What in the? It was so orgasmic and beautiful my body couldn't even handle it (in more ways than one). haha. Lightheaded as hell too!! I had to sit down for the 1st part of Black! And I do not sit a PJ shows!! Oooh the power! OOoh the beauty! PARACHUTES!!!??!:D :o I still can't believe it. WOw!! Kaddi kept asking me "are you ok? are you ok?" haha. Aww. It was sweet. She said she was making sure I wasnt gonna faint. hehe. I'm glad I didn't but man was that a close call. THANK YOU PEARL JAM!!! *chills* There are not enough words to praise. Out of body PJ experience. Pure and total ECTASY.

Ok Black was very intense too. Eddie adding "please forgive me....please forgive me...I'm so lonely" right before going into the always jaw dropping We Belong Together tag. Right after PARACHUTES we get this? Daaamn. Soooo much beauty!!!

Then bam....ALIVE! I turn to Kaddi and say how this is the PERFECT theme song for what just happened. haha. "I'm still alive"<~~ :D Really though! The "yeah" part? NEW LEVELS! Just.... Going on for daaaaaaaaays. Seriously this and Even Flow were reborn in Boston!!!!!!!!!!!!

2nd encore.....we're "STILL ALIVE" Unbelievable. This show is absolutely unbelievable.

    Oooh here they come!! AHHH!

BAM~~~>Why Go! Kaddi's song. She's going nuts...everyone is. ONce again the crowd is sooooo loud.

Life Wasted!! ROCK! Like all the others, kickin ass a million times more live. Crowd is eating this shit up!!!! DAMN! There was a thread a few weeks back saying how the boys were disappointed with the lack of response the new songs were getting live. haha. I'm KNOW Boston more than made up for any of those "lacking" shows. Everyone was singing everything! It was amazing.

So after Life Wasted Stoney G goes over to Mikey's side of the stage and Jeff comes over to us. NO! You gotta be kidding??? Ed says that he's filling a request (which he always seems to say for this song). A cute little girl comes on stage and gives Ed flowers. The whole crowd is touched by the cuteness. Then we keep lookin at each other in disbelief "why is Stone over there? He has a bass! No it can't be! It just can't!!!!" Kaddi and I have seen a number of shows but both had yet to experience SMILE!! We both love the song intensely for different reasons. It;s taken on a really deep/emotional meaning for her and I know how much it connects with her. And with me...fuck, it just "makes me" EVERY DAMN TIME. Looove it. :D We both wanted it sooooo bad. We had been bumping the SMILE thread in W&M for months on end! "Smile in Bostone". Even before we left the hotel this very same day we bumped it. IT WAS HAPPENING!!! AHHHH!!!! US GIRLS ARE FREAKING EVEN BEFORE IT STARTS!!! We know what's coming. People are lookin like "ummm, nothing's even playing" :p hahaha. Then it happens....SMILE!!!!! :D PJ!! PJ!! PJ!! It's so overwhelming. So many dreams coming true! *HUGS* UNREAL! THANK YOU SO MUCH PJ!!!! Another "holy shit did that really happen?" reaction...still.

Smiling from ear to ear, high as a kite...then comes Indifference to hypnotize us all. Good god this song is something else. This song mixed with this crowd felt almost MSG 03-ish. It was so damn powerful. :o *chills*

Once again, now that they have us in a catatonic state all hell is about to break loose................

LEASH!!!!! !!!!!!!??????? OMG OMG!!!! *full body chills* No intro, that woulda gave us fair warning...nope....just straight fuckin into this shit. PERFECT! This was so perfect in every way possible. DROPPED LIKE A BOMB! FUUUUCK! EPIC! I'll never forget Ed's stance before they dropped it....legs spread open, head back like GET THE FUCK REEEEEADY!!! AHHHH! In comes the bass line...then the crash of cymbals....Everyone turning to each other with no words, just faces of shock that said it all. We all remain stuck for a good few seconds then.....the entire crowd ERUPTS when we realize it is really happening~~~>SOUND THE ALARMS~~~>the LEASH IS BEING DROPPED! HOOOOOLY FUCKIN SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never...I repeat..I NEVER stopped believing that this would happen and have replied to many a thread on here stating that I was a bellever that the sucka would be dropped in '06! We also heard that it was soundchecked the day prior. STILL..nothing coulda prepared any of us for this.

It really is hard to put it into words and even just typing this I'm getting major chills. It was EPIC. It truly was. This was the perfect (understatement of the century) crowd to receive it too. The place seriously EXPLODED! Everyone grinnin from ear to ear, rockin/freakin the fuck out. This was one of the greatest experiences in PJ history. SO FUCKIN BLESSED TO BE A PART OF THIS! OMG! 11 YEARS!!?! 11 years later the fucker is dropped and EXPLODES in Bostone kickin our asses back to the 90's! Talk about a time capsule. It sounded soooooooooooo fuckin amazing. WOW! Flooored. THIS BAND IS UNBELIEVABLE!!!! They are on fiyah something fierce. The LEASH was dropped in BOSTONE. Holy fuck. The freak out of a lifetime.

The look on Ed's face was also something I'll never forget. He was SO, SO happy. The awe was just completely recycled. The man also rocked the hell out along with the entire venue. I'm surprised we didn't cause an East Coast earthquake. SHIT!!! Awww, he also let us sing "drop the leash drop the leash" We were louder than EVER. I still can't believe this happened. EPIC. An entire sea of people just flyin all over the place, fists in the air, headbangin into oblivion....everyone turning to each other screaming, singing, shaking their heads in utter disbelief, everyone united in shock & rockin the fuck out. One for the books! One of the greatest PJ experiences of my life. Words can do it no justice! To feel this freak out running through your entire being?!?! OMG! The reaction from us, the reaction from the band, how amazing this shit sounded.......the energy all around! I really cannot put it into words but it was just as historic as we all thought it would be...AND THEN SOME! As I always say, anything is possible with this band which is why I never stopped believing. :) And all that is taken to an even greater extremes this year. I mean, CAN YOU EVEN BEGIN TO BELIEVE THIS>.......

    http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4809959098043082741&q=pearl+jam+boston

    LOOK AT THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    *gasps for air*

I can't stop watching it either...like maybe it will sink in a little more. haha. Not likely. Its giving me non-stop chills all over again. What in the? That's real?
I was there and I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! *gets down on knees and looks up to the sky* ((((((THANK YOU PEARL JAM!!!))))

Whew! Ok...ok let's try to gather ourselves. Wait...WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?! Everyone is stuck. I swear I just cheated on my bf with thousands of people!!!! We just had the greatest group sex on earth!!! The guys behind me keep saying "Oooh my gawd I'm gonna have a fawhkin hawwt attack." <~~~ hahaha. Exactly. How did we survive this? Damn. haha. And gotta love the BOSTONE tongue. :p hahaha. You people are fuckin awesome. LOOOOOVED IT!!!

The boys coulda ended the show right here and now and our lives woulda been more than complete...but nope, they just keep on a givin.

Rockin’ In The Free World. dude comes out I have a total "I'm not from around here/I'm not into sports" moment like who in the? haha. But *applauds* YEAH!!! Whoever you are you're up there with PEARL JAM so WOOOOO!!!!!!! hahah. Later find out he's a Boston legend, Theo Epstein. Right on! People were going nuts once again when he came out. Loved it! I guess dude was wearing a wig during RITFW too and took it off and left it on the stage...beginning of Yellow Ledbetter Stone discovers the wig! ahhahahahahaha. OMFG! No he is not gonna put it on! Ooooh! Oooooh!

    http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a17/LadyPJ27/PJ/7.jpg

We are rollin! This guy is straight up comedy! LMAO!!!!!! It is VERY difficult to concentrate on anything else at this point. Stoney is having a blast! All the guys are but Stone is just being a little goof. At one point he shuffles over to Mikey's side and they have a moment....inbetween making love to that guitar Mikey adjusts the wig for him and they both chuckle! :D Too fuckin cute. God I love these guys!!! :D

There was so much love at these BOSTONE shows. So much love. One massive LOVE fest to the extreme! I'm just as floored by this as Ed. There is a reason for the hard on folks.Shit I have one now and I'm a chick! That's how serious this is! The dream we saw....the dream we WERE. :D What a crowd!!! The way we all fed off each other was one of the most intense PJ experiences to date. I've honestly never seen Ed praise a crowd so much. It was beyond touching. I mean I've been to a good number of shows over the past 12 years, but he has never loved it up THIS much, which is saying a lot cuze he always loves it up. It was just non-stop praise. He even compared us to the SOUTH AMERICA crowds saying he thought that was amazing but how this was beyond! Whaaat????? He also went on to say something like "Grand Rapids was OK...but THIS.....THIS..." SO MUCH LOVE. Smiles galore everywhere you turned. The energy of these shows (especially night 2) was a spiritual experience on new levels. BOSTONE took everything to new levels. :o

I cannot thank BOSTONE enough. You people are beautiful. I "get it". I cannot thank PEARL JAM enough! The greatest band on earth just keeps getting greater and greater!! SUPER PEARL JAM! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! You have no idea. SO many dreams came true. I'm still just STUCK! All the beautiful fans I crossed paths with along the way too...old faces and new ones, THANK YOU!. ((KADDIK)) THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything! I wouldnt have been there if it wasn't for you...and you know I mean that in mutiple ways. ;) THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! Man I LOVE PJ PEEPS! You all connect with such a huge part of who I am and am so, so grateful for that. *HUGE HUGS* Everything surrounding this band makes me feel so fuckin grateful, blessed, alive!

Nothing can top these BOSTONE shows for me right now...but knowing this band, I know JULY will change that. I mean it just keeps getting better and better! The love, more and more intense. WE ARE SO BLESSED TO BE A PART OF THIS! This is the year!! As EPIC as BOSTONE II was....I really think this is just the beginning if you can even imagine that.

In a total state of euphoric shock & forever fuckin FAITHFULL,

    Thank you!!

I was also witness to the Unleashing (that's what I am calling it - they can drop the leash anywhere, but it was only unleashed once)!! Great show. Definately my favorite.

WHOA! you weren't kidding girl it was a LONG ass review but very enjoyable! I am happy that you got to go to those shows :D Of course, you didn't call me for I Got Shit, but that is okay. I know that is one of your favorites too. I am dying how that song sounded in BoSTONE! :)

And I echo Pati's sentiments, it made me feel like I was right there w/you, my fellow GLITTER TWIN sista, but we have the Gorge for that;) But damn, what do they have in store for us in July?!

and LEASH! HOLY SHIT!! LEASH! I saw that video and I am like WHOA?! I can't believe you guys got to hear that, and you are fuckin' LOUD!! hehehe.

Great Review sis! see ya on Friday!! WOOHOOO!

Thanks for the review, it pretty accurately describes my feelings for the night as well, except that I didn't know most of the songs and had no idea that Leash was this big rarity.

This having been my first PJ show, I am hoping future shows won't disappoint. Only one way to find out though. ;-)

I sure hope they come around again soon....any chance at all of a third leg stop after Australia or something?

GREAT REVIEW. That was a nice read. But ...

... am I the only person that thinks this show has been blown WAY out of proportion by many people? Yes, the setlist was very good ... yes, you got Leash for the first time in years ... but all in all the setlist is nowhere near "epic" status.

Epic would be State College 2003 ... epic would be Buffalo 2003 ... epic would be Pittsburgh 2000 ... etc.

But Boston II 2006? I don't put it anywhere near that status.

It's not always about the setlist. I knew maybe 5 songs they played and I was blown away the whole night. It is really hard, IMO, to know what a show was like without having been there. I have seen, at other concerts, songs that were generally bathroom break songs become THE song of the night, and other nights when the big, huge jam vehicle song would fall flat.

Just my opinion, of course. I have nothing to compare to, so all I can say is that Pearl Jam ripped my face off and handed it back to me, with a smile.

IMO, setlists never tell the whole story. I have been to shows where the 'bathroom break' song busted out as THE song of the night, and others where the huge, jam-vehicle song falls flat. Hard to judge a show based on what songs were played. Even having a recording isn't enough to know the unreal level of energy and emotion going back and forth between the fans and the band.

All I know is that Pearl Jam ripped my face off and handed it to me, with a smile.

haha. Nice! Thanks guys. :) Glad you're enjoying the looong ass read...I just really needed to get that out. :o LOL @ Satan's Dice too! ahahhaha.

Pati you crack me up too girl. Glad you enjoyed it. :D Love ya too and yes, see on Friday. You and Nadi are gonna flip the hell out when you see what I have for us.

Nadi...I did all the calling I could. For these shows calling was very difficult most of the time since it was a full on freak out. ;) Like you even said yourself, I woulda launched my phone across the damn venue had I tried to call during "certain" moments. :p

Tim..OMG I can't believe we never hooked up. I swear I saw you @ The Harp too, right up on the bar (that cover band was insanely good! ) and then when I finally squeezed my way through a mass of people you were no longer in the same spot. :/ Booo! Yes, THE GORGE for sure. :D Oooh I cannot even begin to imagine what those shows are gonna be like! :o *deep breathes*

Indeed you were right about the Boston crowd/shows. I never doubted it for a second which is why it's been a dream for years. ;) I'm already anxiously lookin forward to the next trip across country for another Boston show! This was one of the greatest PJ experiences of my life. No joke. :D

BeerBaron, it's all subjective really but for me, the show was EPIC on many levels. I'm not basing this stricly off the setlist. It was everything. I've been to a few shows in my day and honestly, this is easily one of the greatest. Again though, this is just my opinion. :) Sorry if the word doesnt fit for you, it definitely does for me though. And I know I'm gonna be using it a lot more. I know for a fact more[/u] EPIC shows are on the horizon! This band is out of control! THE GORGE for sure...The triple shot of SF heaven! Ahhh, it's just non-stop. We are just so, so in for it! :D

Yeah I hear ya BeerBaron, it really is all subjective. And I've actually seen 4 on this leg as well but even so....I now fully, fully understand the reason why the band always gushes about Boston. There's something extra special in the air at these shows. There truly is. It must be *felt* to be believed, and even then??? :o!!!

grace, I'll be on the look out for your Stoney story. :) Can't wait to hear about it. I have a feeling he saw the sign! :D

Oooh and another thing about the shows... I also wanna add that immediately after they leave the stage and the house lights come on, the new STROKES album comes blastin on over the PA. Heeeell yes! :D **Major appreciation for this**

I guess it all depends on perspective too.

Being my first Pearl Jam show, my thought it this:

    MORE MORE MORE MORE!!!!!!!

    Lollapalooza 8/5/07
Madison Square Garden 6/24/08 and 6/25/08

VEDHEAD27, that is seriously your best post ever! I am totally with you on this experience, even if my expressiveness is much more understated.

My first PJ show was Boston 2 '98, and during that show PJ went from my favorite band to THE ONLY FAVORITE BAND I COULD EVER POSSIBLY HAVE. And though every show after that was great... it didn't quite match the INSANE intensity of that show... UNTIL... Boston 2 '06!!!!!!! It wasn't just the shock and awe of Leash... it was the whole show... my ass was kicked all over town.

Aww hey, you guys are all so very welcome! Glad I captured the HOLY SHITness of this incredible ass night. :o And glad that it's pumping everyone up. I can't believe we get more "EPIC" shows next month!!!!

blondieblue227..YES! ARMY RESERVE!!!! :D Wow!!! One of the many things that made this night heaven on earth!

And rival420. HA! As a "RIVAL" you shoulda been able to figure it out. "STONE" ;) It just happened. Me and my friends just started calling it that and couldn't stop. And seeing as there was MAD Stoney love at these shows it just stuck with me even more. Not meant to annoy anyone  ...these things just happen. :p Anyways I really don't even need to explain myself here. Don't wanna read it? Ok. Glad we agree that this was an out of this world amazing show though. I know, I can't stop listening to the boots either. No matter how much I listen it's still just such a dream. :o I'm still like~~><~~~ DID THIS REALLY HAPPEN!?? Both shows! Both! But yeah, night II really took it all to even greater levels. I'm still in shock.

YES! :D That was too hilarious.

Lotsa great shots here! Thanks again.

Hehe yeah. it's a silly reference but then again, I'm the girl pointing to STONE during the chorus of GARDEN. ;) What can I say? Again, it happens. :p Thanks for reading though. Glad I captured it. :D WHAT A NIGHT! What a double shot! Shit!

What!? You're coming this way but won't be here for the Holy SF triolgy?? Aww. That's just not right. You doing any West Coast shows? Have you seen the boys on this side? I must say, each side offers something all it's own...but the brotherhood on the East really gets to me. :o There's an extra special bond over there. :o First MSG '03 and now these shows?? WOW! I can't wait to experience this again.
