Worst Thanksgiving EVER!

Had a huge fight with the love of my life! After six years, I think it's over...my heart is broken. He got me hooked to PJ, and now what? I don't think I will be able to listen to their music anymore. Too painful! :cry:

    He may have introduced you to the band, but you have your own reasons for liking Pearl Jam. Try not to associate such great music to something awful. Maybe you'll learn to see Pearl Jam's music in a new way! Or in a new light! :)

    Focus on the music - the lyrics. Not on how you heard them for the first time. I have found that the music is some that has gotten me through my most difficult times. No matter how horrible the situation, there is always a song that I can connect with over it - I guess that's the beauty of PJ having such a huge catalog.

    For me, this music is a kind of 'comfort food' that I can go to in good times and bad. Try your very hardest to think of it that way, with less of an association to how you heard it in the beginning.

    Thank you for the kind words...that helps! I do love Pearl Jam, and you're right: I will not associate their great music to my pain. At least, I will try. Joining 10c was one of the best things I did. I knew I could find some comfort in here! Thank you again!
