all or none

It's a hopeless... situation
And I'm starting to believe
That this hopeless... situation
Is what I'm trying to achieve

But I try
To run on
Towards
All or none,... all or none

Here's the selfless confession
Leading me back to war
Can we help that,.. our destinations
Are the ones we've been before

I still try
To run on
Towards all
Or none,... all or none
Some of the best lyrics written ever.

Please play this song again preferably in Australia ;)

To myself I... surrender
To the one I'll never please

I still try,.. to run on
But I still try,.. to run on
But it's
All or none,... all or none

All or none is one of my favorite Pearl Jam songs ever... I don't know why it is not played more often, it is such a brilliant beautiful emotional heart-wrenching ethereal gorgeous song.

My dream is to listen to that song live, as well as Hard to imagine, and Tremor Christ.

Seriously, it has become the song I most would love to hear live. I probably will have to catch this song in the US, if I am lucky enough, because I doubt it will be played in Buenos Aires or South America in general, on the rare occasions we are fortunate enough to see Pearl Jam down there.

I need to remind myself that I have been lucky enough to attend many shows and seen many Pearl Jam songs live, more than many other fellow South Americans, but still, how I pine for that song....

    That song...just kills me.
I am just a dreamer, but you are just a dream...
If I knew where it was I would take you there.

listening to it right now...fantastic song.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

I just don't connect Bush to this one. I get how it could be tied in but nope it just doesn't work for me in this one. Love this song. Love Stone's intro. Beautiful solo from Mike.
Oh please let it rain today.

I was there too... was out in the corridor buying a PJ Japan Elvis poster when I heard the opening chords. We rushed back in and caught the whole song. Amazing to say the least.

Such a good song. A buddy of mine pointed out that it sounds like the soundtrack to a PT Anderson film; always thought that was pretty fitting.

love this song. They opened the Vic show with it and the crowd response was incredible. I got to see it again at LA 1 on the 2013 tour.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
slide in sideways, BBQ sandwich in one hand, cold beer in the other,
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "Woo Hoo what a
    ride"!

Saw it in Leeds last year and it was a special moment. Eddie did a great job, you call see he was putting his all in to the song, and Mike's solo was amazing!
