Bands like Ben Harper + R7/Innocent Criminals?

I just love sticking on a Ben Harper bootleg whether it's with R7 or IC, just so much groove, jamming, soul and shredding!! Fantastic fusion of genres. Are there any other bands similar to these 2 projects or has he found a gap?
Any bands people would recommend if you really dig Ben Harper?

I like Lenny Kravitz, not sure if they are similar but I went to both concerts relatively close to each other (with PJ20 in between) and enjoyed all 4 shows! Lenny was jamming a lot more on stage at this show compared to the show I saw a few years ago, if that helps. I don't know if Lenny has bootlegs tho.0

Ben definitely has his own sound but an artist you might like would be the John Butler Trio. An Australian jam band, but extremely talented and I think influenced a bit by Harper. Lets just say the electric slide guitar makes more than one appearance. Best album would be the cd/dvd combo live at red rocks.0
