Hey All

I know this is a long shot but i would love a Tamborine from a show as I will probably never get close enough to get one. . .

If anyone has one that are willing to part with PM me and lets make a deal!

Thanx

If you don't get one yourself, or signed, be careful, you can buy the exact same brand Ed use. So be aware of anyone swearing they got it straight from Ed and/or want tons of money for it.

  • Ed tossed me one in Little Rock (which was the last time I was in front row), and it is my most prized possession. I can't even imaging someone willing to part with one. Mine can actually still be played which is more than a lot of people can say--Ed really destroys a lot of these. I wish you all the luck in your search.

  • Jeremy,
one of the posts above is correct. Ed uses a pretty standard brand of tambourine. Be careful. To be honest, I don't think it'd mean much to you unless you got it yourself at a show. Ed's smashed the skin on mine (Paris 2006). The joy of getting one is he usually points out exactly who he wants to have it-he doesn't usually throw them out randomly (very ocassionally he does, though).

I could go to a music store, buy the exact brand as the one Ed gave me, smash the skin, tell you Ed did it, sell it to you, and you'd be none the wiser. My advice is: don't buy one.

Joey, I was at this show as my mates were supporting (Idlewild). This show, along with LA1, Vegas and Council Bluffs was one of the best I saw (out of 10) in the US in 2003. One of those short but powerful sets. Fucking loved it!

I agree witht the above people. You can buy these easily for cheap and say it was one of his. Just be careful if you do work out a deal with someone.

The Kids are Alright and of course Baba were the highlights for me. I had always wanted a tambourine and Eddie pointed at me and tossed it to me towards the end of Baba. Baba is always my #1 song that I want to hear at a PJ concert because of the energy and audience participation. I just want video of Ed tossing it to me. The bootleg video that is out there has me blocked off by the speaker stacks by Mike. If anyone knows of other video angles that this show was shot from, pm me.
