I am sorry that happened. I was surrounded by very cool, mellow people. But 'someone' I was with was not too thrilled with the mellowness of the crowd. lol
One guess....he started this thread. lol

Me too. I had a bunch of cool people around me too. It was the people trying to fit in space that just wasn't there. lol I have no problem with anyone having a good time, as long as no one gets hurt. You can't enjoy the show if you are constantly looking for arms and legs above you.

Or elbows to the head. lol He hit me by accident. :)
I don't know how you stood in that heat. I seriously was about to pass out from standing in the KOL crowd for 3 minutes.

    Perry Farrell was so cool.

Would you mind elaborating on this?

The schedule showed that he was going to play with Peter DiStefano.

Anyway, did he perform? And how was it?

He was everywhere! All over the place. Saw him at Kidapallooza. And he came onstage with MMJ to introduce the Kid's symphony. He sounded great on the kiddie stage. He just seems so cool, so down to earth.

I think he's easily one of the best vocalists and maybe the strongest creative force of that early 90's generation.

So he was just kinda fuckin around then?

But so psyched that I have a new band to listen to: MMJ.

I fell in love with them. Truly.
They had me intrigued when they strolled out in tuxedos. lol
But they sounded great. The audio was perfect. I got such a kick out of the singer. I need all of their stuff. I guess I should get Lost Dogs first though. lol

congrats on making the show! disappointed you didn't pick me up a hat though Trix...I should've asked, considering what happened to my last PJ hat!!! :D
I love to turn you on
  • TrixieCatTrixieCat Posts: 5,756
A hat???? You told me not to even think about you! lol
I didn't even go anywhere near the merch. The only time I did was in the kiddie area to try to get a shirt for Holden. She had just sold the last one 15 min before I got there. :(
It was so crazy that the only thing you could think of was keeping from passing out, finding somewhere to park your stuff, eating, getting wine and that is about it.

    Sounds like Woodstock...minus the mud.

No, this was much better than Woodstock. We didn't have to pay 8 dollars for water and pee in a trough. It was pretty well organized I have to say. I had no problems with anyone in the crowd. People weren't stinky smelling. I didn't get shoved or pushed by anyone except for nypj's elbow to the head.
I was so thrilled just to be there.
