That's fantastic news. I don't think I'm a big enough RHCP fan to get any of them though, but I'm happy for those that are. I don't even listen to the one live album of theirs I have already. I basically stick to the studio albums with them. It's great to see any band doing this though.

I only wish they started from the very beginning of the tour. Would absolutely love bootlegs of the LA shows I went to at the Roxy and Club Nokia.

Such a huge fan of this band. I love the new album but man oh man do I miss John.

Klinghoffer has no feel for the nuances John brought to that band. Not that i'm sure they or he wants to try emulating him but there might come a point where they need to stop playing the epic tunes that Frusciante made his own. Josh can handle the bulk of the early stuff that centered more on a groove and less on Brian May theatrics.

I'll hold off for some older material. Looking most for the Stadium Arcadium era stuff. Still my favorite album ever. really no album of theirs is bad aside from that thing they did with Navarro.
  • Hopefully, since they're doing this, they start messing the set up more. They have been varying it more so than the past, but its still pretty formulated.

Also, (and well aware this is slightly off topic and completely subjective), but I'd really like to hear the good songs off the new album rather then Factory of Faith or Happiness Loves Company. I understand they have to play the singles, but man, wouldn't it be great to hear Meet Me at the Corner or Police Station somewhat regularly?

Anyways, heres to hoping for their US Tour to have their sets a little more in the vein of Pearl Jam... Start of the show with a b-side such and go anywhere and everywhere from there.

I'm a huge Chili Peppers fan as well and have seen them 8 times over the years. Surprisingly, those sets they have up on the site have more variance than the 2-3 songs they normally switch in/out on a tour.

for a band that has over 28 years of music, they need to start doing more to their setlists, as well as play for longer than just an hour and 30 minutes. it's pretty ridiculous and just sad. the first time i saw she's only 18 in their setlist was the other night. they can do better than that.

Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.
