where to begin..

Buenos Aires show..
like you all know.. once more, we demostrate why we are the best crowd EVER!! the show was amazing and with and energy that could blown the whole stadium to another planet.
i mean, eddie said "next time, we will pay you for playing here" with the tears in his eyes. Extraordinary.

Chile show..
GREAT show!! it was awesome from the beginning to the end.. it was weird to me that people start taping the show at the first song (Untought known) to the end, a little jumping in 2 or 3 songs, but very calm compare to the BsAs one.. still a great show..
(BTW the Chile people is so kind, i was impressed of the way they treat tourists
--Gracias Pedro por toda tu ayuda y amabilidad!!--)

Peru show..
Really weird.. i mean, every one expected to be one of a hell show because they didn't played there before.. but like i said before, it was weird. Some people was there to give their love to PJ, but some others look like they were on a bar or something like that.. Why i said this? in songs like Jeremy they went crazy, but when they played Immortality (even a popular song!!) they start talking, and joking around, and some of them even gave their back to the band.. i just coudnt believe it, in my opinion it was so disrespectful.
At the end i talk to a friend of mine that was there and explained to me that bands didn't ever play in Peru, they start playing 2 or 3 years ago, so this was like a social event.. really weird, but understandable.. i can remember this group of 4 guys asking for the song name when they were playing "given to fly":lol:
PLEASE don't take this as an offense or something like that because it isn't what i was looking for, if someone feel this way, please forgive me.
(THANKS martinvedder for all your kindness!!)

Also want to thanks Juan, Diego, Ainho, Andrea, Rob, Mags, Leandro, Zamir, Norman, Colin, Vitoria, Addriana, the ten club crew and obviously Pearl Jam for giving me the best week of my entire life so far.
(forgive me if i forgot someone)

    Juan

It was great meeting you and other new friends in Lima.

My own S A tour Rio, BA and Lima was just as memorable as yours - it is so good that the band can give us these feelings and the opportunity to share those feelings with friends from around the world. That Lima lunch was a League of Nations.

Only one thing more jaw dropping than Pearl Jam playing Blood at number 3 or 4 in Rio was the view that we just enjoyed of Machu Pichu - blew our minds

I understand, what I was trying to say was that the chilean crowd was a bit more crazy-dangerous than the argentinian one. Besides, we couldn't even jump, we didn't have enough space, and people were pushing all over the place!

Well, in all fairness, you are comparing Black and the Ole's/soccer chanting vs Unthought Known as an opener and RVM. Obviously, cameras will come out by the thousands during the beginning, and RVM won't have such an amazing response among casual fans. Then you compare Given to fly Arg 2011 vs Chile 2005 (in which by the way, they do look crazy but as a TV broadcast the crowd's volume is not as loud). And the Argentinian show is recorded from a very still camera close by, vs the Chilean one further back spinning due to the pushing and jumping.

Haven't been to either country, but from Flight 666 I see awesomely choreographed jumping and singing in Argentina vs crazy singing, pushing and shoving in Chile (and Colombia, I might say); just different ways of expressing their energy. Argentina looks more impressive though, as they put together a 'great show' (if you know what I mean)... that's out of the question.

I personally believe both are amazing crowds and will check out a couple of shows in both countries in the near future.

Now off to the last "South American" show of this leg, which funnily enough will be held in North America. Maybe next time we can talk about a "Latin American" tour
