    Really,

Did Michelle O really expect a different response??????? Clinton was at least smart enough to not put himself in this kind of situation. The Obama's really are stupid.

It would be the equivalent of George W. officiating the U.S. Hacky Sack championship and being surprised when he is pelted with organic tomatoes.

i think it was a savvy political decision ...

let's face it ... they surely knew they would get boo'd by a large segment of their audience ... but you gotta figure there is a huge group that went and stayed silent and privately admired them for showing up in front of a hostile crowd ... sometimes you gain respect not by winning the game but simply just by showing up ...

Down here S Florida several sports radio hosts and listeners were at the race in Homestead and they all said they didn't hear anything close to boos. The hosts said maybe a few people near the mikes or some other embelished sound effect was in play but they didn't hear a thing.

Absolutely if you consider two different sports radio stations redneck radio station. BTW your quote was the radio station's host, were you at the track in Homestead? It seems the people at track would know more than what you think you hear on the tube. If they did get some boos so what it won't be the last time.

People that booed should be ashamed. That is a classless thing to do even if you don't believe in Obama's politics.

It doesn't surprise me, though. We've become a classless society.

The whole fam is coming to Towson this weekend, and there will be no one there to cheer or boo b/c the bball team fucking sucks.
  • According to the article Mrs. Obama was there to raise support to an initiative for businesses to hire veterans...which if GWB proposed the Nascar fans would give a standing ovation. For some reason that equally irritates me and cracks me up.

My thoughts exactly. I would never have booed Laura Bush if she had made an appearance somewhere even though I despise W. Like I told my husband, if Laura Bush said something in a speech that I totally disagreed with I might have booed that statement. But to boo the first lady and the second(?) lady along with those kids and the veteran that was up there with them is so mean, stupid, and classless.

    ...
    Same here.
As much as I despised the Bush Administration (based upon its collective actions and decisions)... I would never boo President George W. Bush, simply because I respect the office of the President Of The United States of Ameria. And only an idiot would boo Mrs. Bush, simply because she was his spouse.

Yea, it really is. It's also very sad.
