    It's funny because I've always thought that a perfect combination of songs from UYI 1 and UYI 2 could be made. Like take the best songs from the 2 cds and cut the filler from both and imo that would make a better album than appetite. but as things stand now:

    To be honest, bar the alt version of Don't Cry and My World, I don't think there's any filler. I can never make a one disc version of them. Especially with so many long classics (Estranged, November Rain, Civil War, Locomotive, etc).

    oh i agree, 100%, but for fun when you pick the best 12-14 songs it makes for one hell of a listen.

    Kind of agree with this, "of sorts". Not the "bunch of filler on the UI albums" bit, necessarily. But it's hard to rank GnR. I mean, it is "kind've" Appetite, and then the other stuff. Not that its bad (well, imho, Spaghetti and Chinese are mostly BAD) but ... maybe more fun \ appropriate to say what songs we all like better\best:

    This is why UYI really couldn't be a single disc release. I mean, this is a good list and all, but you left out some great songs, such as Coma, Breakdown, Locomotive & Dust N' Bones, to mention some. I always thought UYI's greatest strenght was the diversity of the discs, and in reducing it to just one disc you'd remove that strenght. Just my 2 cents.

    I know no one agrees with me but Coma is one of my least favorite songs across both albums. It probably ranks only 2nd worst to My World. Breakdown and Locomotive would've been better as 4 minutes songs instead of 7 to 9 minutes. They just get old. Dust N' Bones is a toss up. The other songs I didn't list are just ok and I do listen to them, however, there are a few songs that I just can't listen to including Coma, The Garden, So Fine, and My World. Get In The Ring is so stupid it's kinda fun to listen to every once in a while.
