Must.... resist....
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of Led Zeppelin IV The Flood Gallery has brought together 8 of the top American poster artists to produce an exclusive series of 8 original poster sized prints. Each artist has selected a different song from the album and has created an art piece inspired by that track. Each print will be a strictly limited edition of up to 200 and will be signed and numbered by the artist.

The line up for the show is as follows:
Black Dog by Justin Hampton
Rock & Roll by Kii Arens
The Battle of Evermore by John Vogl
Stairway to Heaven by Jermaine Rogers
Misty Mountain Hop by Nate Duval
Four Sticks by Dan Grzeca
Going to California by Gary Houston

"The Battle of Evermore"? There are at least 3 there that I like a lot. But I have to remember, pounds, not dollars, pounds, not dollars :D

I really like "Misty Mountain Hop" and Jermaine's "Stairway to Heaven". Oh, oh, Jermaine posted this on his FB page: I will have a very rare red foil edition, as well as something very, very special, both available directly through me.
    But later.
For now, pick up the 'Stairway...' prints from the Flood Gallery...as they are the exclusive place to snag the regular edition, regular foil edition, etc.

    Jermaine's foils are awesome. I don't think you'll be disappointed :D

I might cave in soon. Dammit.
  • Great work by my boy Nate Duval. There are some really good ones in there. MunkOne was unavailable for this or something?

Nothing against Munk One, I'm kinda glad this one didn't have Munk One or Ames. Purely selfish, of course, I'm still new to the poster world and this introduced me to a few more poster artists :D
  • The only posters in this collection I like are the Hampton's and Roger's. The rest are pretty bad.

Have you seen the owls Soto has been doing? "Shackled" was pretty sweet but pricey. He recently did a timed release if Snow Owl and I think there's another coming soon. You should check his site out I think it's potatostamp.com

Wow, these look really good in person! Was at the gallery earlier today. The mentioned that Jermaine's poster is the most popular so far.

The owl actually looks great in person too so I've taken it off my "do not like" list. :D

Jermaine's Stairway to Heaven will be on sale on his site this Friday 12/9 3PM EST. I think this is my favourite Jermaine poster yet. The red one's pretty, as is the foil. I think that's his wife in the poster (awww..). Dunno about prices, but the red one was 75 pounds at Flood, and foil was 100 pounds.

NEW POSTER RELEASES at JermaineRogers.com on this coming Friday, Dec. 9th at 3:00 PM Eastern (12 Noon Pacific).
Plan accordingly if you're into any or all of them.***

    - Led Zeppelin IV 40th Anniversary: 'Stairway To Heaven' (Artist's Edition)
30x20 inches on gallery cream stock from an edition of only 100. Only a limited number of these are available for general sale.
... - Led Zeppelin IV 40th Anniversary: 'Stairway To Heaven' (Artist's Edition) FOIL
Measuring 30x20 inches, this is the Artist's Edition of the 'Stairway To Heaven' on striking holographic laser foil. These prints are part of a very limited signed and numbered edition of only 40.
    - Led Zeppelin IV 40th Anniversary: 'Stairway To Heaven' (Gallery Edition on Wood Panel)
meticulously printed on treated 30x20 1/2 inch white birch wood panel. Signed and numbered from an edition of only 10 pieces produced. A number of these were already provided to 'official sources': a very limited amount of this edition will be available to the general public. First come / first served.
    - 'Eden' Art Print
An art print, featuring the imagery which also appeared on the poster for the WEEN Oct. 31st show in New York City. This 7-color screened piece measures approx. 26x20 inches and is printed on white gallery stock.
From a signed and numbered edition of only 30 pieces.

***Remember, all of the pieces above will be released
There will also be a few surprises available as well. Setting up the new satellite studio down in Texas has uncovered lots of really cool things that were in storage. Keep your eyes open.
