So I checked out Logan Hardware earlier today. Not the greatest selection, but I'll definitely be back.
I picked up "High Violet" by The National and then I played a couple games each of Tempest, Robotron and Doctor Who pinball.
So, Kidcloudkicker, how was the Hey Rosetta! show? (That's who was playing at Lincoln Hall, right?) Did you end up taking any of our suggestions for dining/hangout spots?

I had a great time. We grabbed a beer at the hancock tower. That was great. We also hit up a reckless records. And we grabbed a pizza at Giordano's for lunch before leaving the city Sunday.
We didn't have a chance to do a whole lot else. They had some Winterfest thing going on downtown with a parade and it was an absolute zoo. We got stuck at one point and couldn't cross Michigan Ave to get back to our hotel. We eventually found a street that crossed under Michigan Ave (no thanks to the Chicago Police) but we wasted a lot of time stuck in people traffic.
Hey Rosetta! was pretty good. But we actually went to see The Jezebels who we're fantastic. They're an Australian band and my friend became a fan and had the chance to meet them when he was living in Sydney the past two years.
Oh and Lincoln Hall was awesome.

I'm just happy to share the best(maybe not selection wise) record store in Chicago with fellow fans. It's nice to play some old favorites(arcade games) once in a while. Glad you enjoyed it.
I am lost, I'm no guide, but I'm by your side
