(i just watched The Fans Are Alright, and got inspired)

Oh, Chad
where did you go?
where have you been?
were you ever around?
were you created in sin?

oh, Chad
would you reach....
would you reach your potential?
are your rains.....
are your rains torrential?

oh, Chad
did you write that great song?
did you make lots of money?
did you play guitar and
marry your high school honey?

what's in a name?
is it all the same?
don't wanna lay blame
what's in a shame?

oh, Chad
did you do lots of drugs?
do you like to drink Crown?
does it help you turn
that frown upside down?

    I should have put in a disclaimer that it wasn't about you. :lol:

    this is actually the name my parents were going to give me, but decided on Paul instead. so this is me wondering if I'd be a different me if I had a different name.

    I just watched The Fans Are Alright (bonus disc to PJ20). no specific thing inspired me, it's just this band in all its forms. watching them, listening to them, reading about them, thinking about them. that's usually when I write a song/poem.
