Chris Cornell To Sign Songbook at Vintage Vinyl

Chris Cornell is set to appear at an in-store event at Vintage Vinyl in Fords, New Jersey on Saturday, November 26th at 3:30pm EST as part of this year’s 'Back To Black Friday'.

His appearance at Vintage Vinyl coincides with the vinyl release of his brand new all-acoustic album, Songbook,and is a gesture the artist felt compelled to make in honor of his support for indie record stores, and in recognition and appreciation of the mom and pop stores being an integral part of getting music to fans.

Soundgarden will also release their Before The Doors Soundcheck EP on vinyl (UMe)— 5 incredible live rehearsal performances recorded at soundcheck during the band’s 1996 tour and featuring a version of The Doors’ “Waiting For The Sun.”

There is limited capacity at the event so instructions for admission are as follows:

Rules for signing:

Must pre-order or purchase the new Chris Cornell “Songbook” CD, LP , or the Soundgarden LP” before the doors” at Vintage Vinyl Records.
Pre-ordering can only be done at the physical location. Vintage Vinyl Records Fords, NJ
No internet or phone orders will be accepted.
You will receive a wristband that will grant you access to the event. You must be wearing the wristband for admittance.
The number of people that will admitted is limited so we encourage pre-orders.
Chris will be signing only ONE of the three titles listed above per person.
Please DO NOT bring any other items to be signed. Customers bringing other items will be ejected from the line.

local record store didn't even get the songbook vinyl, and I'm yet to find a place to buy it in Europe..seems I'll have to order from the US and pay taxes once more.

Only wish I could get a signed copy. Would be awesome if he did something like that when he came to CA in a few weeks.

I was there yesteday. He was real nice. Got a picture taken with him. Had him sign the limited record store day vinyl of Songbook. I asked him to add "Im still going hungry!" To his autograph, and he did.

Only thing rhat would have made it better for me was if I could have gotten him to sign a baseball as well. Had one with me, but the security was real strict about 1 autograph per person, and only songbook or the new limted Soundgarden vinyl.

But it was a great instore for sure.

I wish PJ would do a in store promo tour for a release. All 6 Ramones did one , I got a bunch of things signed at, and now Chris Cornell... These are friends of the PJ, and PJ should take there lead. But im sure if they did one it would be only 1 in Seattle and me being in NYC would be jealous.
