    HAVEN'T HEARD:
    Death To False Metal
“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”

Haven't heard the last 3 albums. After the crap they put out on Make Believe and Red, I'm pretty much done buying their albums.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

Haven't listened to Hurley and False Metal enough to really differentiate between them. But I relistened to Raditude a few weeks back for the first time since it came out. And it's still as wretched as it was back then.

I still don't understand how the band that made the Blue album and Pinkerton could put out Hurley and Ratitude.

    Why all the Raditude hate?
I think it is one of the better albums they have made.

    Is it overly-pop?
    Sure.

    Is it good?
    IMHO, hell yeah.

Next to Blue & Pinkerton, it's really the ONLY Weezer album that I find entirely listenable, minus maybe a song or two.

Put Me Back Together, to me, is one of the best songs the band has ever written.
The acoustic version from GoShow is just flooring\awe inspiring, radiating of warmth, sunshine, puppy dogs, candycanes, and sugardrops.

I don't know man, I just can't see it. I'm Your Daddy, The Girl Got Hot, Can't Stop Partying and In the Mall in particular are just utter trash. By far the worst Weezer album and one of the worst albums that I've actually willingly purchased.

No, I don't think that it's too poppy, because they were always pop. Blue is one of the poppiest rock records around. It's the fact that the lyrics are so fucking cringe-worthy coming from a 40 year old man, and how lazy the songwriting has gotten. The only reason Raditude gets any acknowledgement from me whatsoever is because it has "(If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To" on it, because that song is just pure pop bliss.
    Thanks EPOTTSIII!
