well, if you don't mind of the color (that is you don't mind if it's the original release or a fake one :shock: ...) check ebay...many times I found it at reasonable price

I think the fakes are on red vinyl?? Not positive though.

So maybe a dumb question here.....but are the fakes the same sound quality then?

If the only difference is one is on green vinyl and one is on red vinyl and they sound exactly the same.....I would buy a fake one.

i have the green sealed never played it....

the red is shit sound really poor

also the yellow


dont have the black..

but ive been told the greens so much better

The fakes are taken from an mP3 source. And man they sound like it.
If it's of no matter to you go for it, packagings the same but avoid and prevent bootleggerey

really? i had no idea. I had always thought that the black, red and yellow ones were just repressings.

The originals were approved by the band. The artwork being so shoddy and cheap along with availability of the FM broadcast made bootlegs inevitable. It's barely worth $20. Best kept as a knock off oddity. Worthless in real terms. Certainly not worth any PJ vinyl.

I must concur - the original is definitely green.

It's just a weird, marbled sea-foam "green".

Can you tell by the jacket if it's the original or not? I was in a local record store today and they had one sealed in plastic(doesn't look like original plastic). They wanted $50 for it. But I can't afford to start a vinyl collection.

if its sealed it very very hard to tell the difference..the type is a little smaller on the spin imo

I would check ebay every now and then, I found my copy off the guy that originally pressed them and he did a reasonable price for both the vinyl and cd, included extra posters, lp cover, cd artworks etc for me, he must have a few stashed away still and just puts them up every now and then.
