Brandon Marshall or Brandon Lloyd or Julio Jones? for either 1 of 2 spots (1 is flex)
And for that flex... the second of those 2 WR's or Chris Johnson?
Ugh... all good plays. Sometimes makes the decision much harder.

I have Cedric Benson on the bench playing the Steelers, so i ruled him out.

i got victor cruz and brandon lloyd sitting. also donald brown and Ogbanya as starters who are sitting
i like cruz over nelson except its a 4 oclock game and unsure if nicks will play...
So you're saying play Marshall and Jones? Hmmmm
Marshall did have a huge game for me last week when i opted to put him in.

I like this, and i believe Cruz is 100% hit or miss. I picked him up after his 2 monster games and he did nothing in 2 weeks that i started him. Eli still has Manningham to throw to right? And he's hitting his TE too.

on your hand you have a "problem" of having too many good wr's. wr's can have 30 point games and 3 point games depending on many variables. playing the odds i'd say play jones and marshall for sure. either way its not a terrible move so long as CJ rides the pine.
oh and desean is sitting if that affects any other teams you got...wow
Eli or Cam Newton?
only sit newton for AAron rodgers. i would start brown over holmes, even though holmes has more talent - brown has a better qb and that is more important 95% of the time
Thanks.
I am afraid that the bubble will burst on Cam and he will start playing like a rookie at some point.
I am in a keeper-auction league and have Cam at a very low price (I would keep him for 2012). Would you trade Cam for Adrian Peterson to help win this year? I would need to play Eli the rest of the way but AP would be a great addition. AP's salary is high and I would not be able to keep him for 2012.
I would keep Cam, and build around him. While AP is solid, he's also a feature back, and recent history shows that feature backs just don't have a long time at the top these days. He has to be coming to an end of his dominance, and his production i'm sure will begin to drop off as early as maybe next season. Build around Cam, he's young, big, strong and can throw the shit out of the ball.

Going by that, you would start Holmes, but like jethro said, Brown has a better QB... tough decision

I am leaning towards Holmes because of the bad pass defense that he is facing and because it sounds like high winds may impact the passing in the Steelers game.
it depends on if you feel like the payout to win this year trumps next years payout. for this year to win i would absolutly pick up AP for Cam having eli as a backup. there is many qbs you can hit or miss with, but very few AP's. if there is no prize for this year or you're too far away to make a legitimate run at the prize than hang on to cam and spend the money in the RB core high next year and pick up AP.

I am in a "bet the farm to win now" or "keep a base for the future" situation. If I trade for AP, I would lose Cam for next year but would have a strong team - Eli, AP, Ray Rice, MJD, Welker, Boldin and Holmes. I would have a good shot to win it all this year but my team would be starting from scratch in 2012.
actually i did end up benching lloyd ... forgot i had jordy nelson ... really, it's just about him not getting into the endzone ...

I would win now if you can. injuries and such can and will kill a next year, and you cant base a QB's performance of this year towards next year see also vick freeman and eli.
Ap has at least 2 or 3 more years left of being a number 3 or better overall pick. if you think you can win now then win now. you can pick up a decent QB on the cheap next year same way you got Cam this year.
Totally agree. Jones is a must start. Maclin will get more looks with Jackson out. Lloyd is likely better than anyone on the wire (unless you are in a really small league)
good move nelson will get 15 points easy on monday, lloyd will get either 15 or 3 today...
you guys don't think jones hamstring is gonna be a problem today?

If I win this week, I will probably make the Cam for AP deal to try and win it all this year.
I may also be able to swap Antonio Brown (also cheap on my roster) for AP.
The real decision comes when the other guy wants Cam AND Antonio Brown for AP. Then I would really be betting the farm on this year. Not sure if I would make that deal.
His hamstring did not seem like a problem last week so unless there has been a setback, he should be fine.
well ... he didn't practice much is all ...
thanks jethrojam420!

do not trade 2 for 1 on any player ever. at this point in the season either go for this year or next, but dont kill yourself just for starters, a good backup is hard to find as well
PRACTICE???!!!???
never fret practice for a deep threat. practice is neccessary more for a qb rb and linesman...
jones needs to go straight and hang on to the damn ball if thrown to him
hahaha ... i knew this would happen ... lloyd gets a td ...
