No. Bananas win. I have missed bananas very much this past 9 or 10 months since the cyclone wiped out all the crops. Thankfully the price has come down to a more reasonable cost, and I can once again indulge in my absolutely favourite fruit ever. :D Oh, and mangoes are yukky.

I agree, mangoes are my absolute favourite :) . I bought a tray today for $25 and when I was driving home with the air conditioner on my whole car smelt like a mango.

I like bananas when they are in smoothies, cake or banana bread, but i'm not that bothered about eating them plain. Plus when they were charging $15 a kilo for them, it didn't exactly encourage me to eat them!

Mangoes are absolutely awesome! And they are so healthy. Its like having your cake and eating it too. Can't stand bananas, though I wish I liked them - they are so convenient.

  • Mangoes are one of the best fruits. Kind of messy to chop up.

They definitely have to be in season. For us, they have to be east coast - local or from the South. California peaches are horrible. In season, I eat peaches, make peach pancakes, peach pie, pork chops with peaches, BBQ peaches...

Can't remember where, but I read somewhere that mangoes are the world's most popular fruit? It would make sense as they are delicious.

  • Sorry, not a fan. I can't get a taste for them- at all.
Cherries are my favorite- talk about expensive, and such a short season.

That Kattan skit started funny but always ran too long- like many of their skits.

YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM! Love mangos, I bought a few yesterday and tried to offer some to my little one but she mushed them into her high chair and threw the rest on the floor. Obviously not a big fan! :?

Haha - that's my boy's favorite food. For his personalized doggie toy (Scout), we put his favorite food as mango. ;)

  • I've got a big-ass mango tree in my yard. But apparently, there are different types or quality. Sadly, mine are stringy and not too good tasting most of the time. Plus, they get stolen and devoured by animals all the time.
Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)
