The only band I've seen more than Pearl Jam. They put on a awesome loud ass show every time. Its amazing that much noise can come out of 2 people. Oh, and sometimes Gabe.

The same thing is true for me!

And yeah, right?? Just 2 guys, and it's more than just volume - there's fullness to their sound that can almost knock you over.

Couldn't have said it better. Enjoy the show. Haven't seen them in like a year. Definitely an itch I need to scratch.

Oh, and I have some great Scott stories. God he makes me laugh.
  • Saw them at the Metro, 5-23-10. Blew my mind. Unfortunately most of their shows in the Chicago area are 21+ (I'm only 20) or I'd go see them more often.

heard they are great live. If I remember right, they played right down the road from me a few years back in WC, but i couldn't make the show.

    Pretty good show last night!!

"California Songs," "Hands on the Bible," and "Alright Oh Yeah" were the three I wanted to hear most, and we got all of them.

Scott came down on the floor and into the middle of the pit during the solo in "Hey Rita." He was literally two feet away from me!! Brian screwed something up towards the last verse, and Scott snapped at him: "Damn it, Brian! You start doing something, and I'm following you, and then you just stop. (uncomforbable pause) This song's about tonight!" (right into "All the Kids are Right" ).

"High Fiving MF" was dedicated to the people protesting the firings at Penn State. A fitting tribute, if there ever were one.

At the end of the closing number (the name of which escapes me at the moment), Scott laid his live guitar on the stack and left the feedback howling, went to the front of the stage and then proceeded to crowd surf his way towards the merchandise table, even directing the direction in which he was being passed.

It was really fun night. And a tremendous value, at $12 a head!

Saw them a few weeks ago. Great show. They did play a bunch of songs off their new album, so if you were looking for a set of mostly familiar songs, then this isn't the show, but if you want to hear a good portion of their new stuff, then definitely go.

Well i'm not too familiar with them except for a few songs, but I have heard they are great live. However I think i'm gonna pass on tonight's show.

ahhh Local H...man did I love these guys back in the day! Actually I still do, just one of those bands you kinda lose track of over the years. I saw them a few times back in 97-99 around the time Pack up the Cats came out and man do they put on a great show with tons of energy. The best part of it is usually there playing a small venue so you can connect with the band a bit more than an arena show. Will have to check to see if theyre playing up in Mass anytime soon..

Saw them once back in like '96 or '97 and they were pretty good. To be honest I wasn't paying all that much attention, they were opening for Stone Temple Pilots, who were the reason I was there. At the time they were just "that band with that song on the radio" to me. I never really kept up with them or checked out any album other than "As Good As Dead", though I really like that album.
