Does anyone here have a lowered car?

My car right now is lowered on cheap coilover suspension and they other day i blew a strut mount ... now im torn between just putting my car back to stock height or buying the good 1 piece coilover suspension.. i mean sure i scrap on bumps sometimes but hey what the hell... but on the same hand it is aggravating that i cant go in driveways or certain gas stations because of my cars height..My dad keeps harrasing me saying put it back but cmon im a kid and i like lowered cars :)

But does anyone here have a lowered car ??? any good experiences any bad?

I know this is a super long shot on here but why not!!

unless you're entering the daytona 500 i'd put your car back up. i love waiting behind people leaving the gas station that have to make a 90 degree turn at 2mph

I had a friend with a lowered car. The only time I ever rode with him we were going to a see a friend at an apartment complex that had speed bumps in the parking lot. He made everybody get out of the car and walk alongside as he navigated through the lot and went over each bump at 1-2 mph, lest he bottom out.

What is the point of a lowered car, actually? I really don't know, and now I have the opportunity to ask someone who has one.

It lowers the car's center of gravity and is better for cornering at high speeds. Like someone earlier pointed out..great for race cars, but superficial for streetcars.

    Cuz it looks cool yo!

Oh wait, no it doesn't. There is no practical purpose for lowering a car. It's similar to people raising their trucks and putting on giant tires...but it's said they like to offroad with their small penises!

its pretty practical if you actually ENJOY driving unlike 95% of the people on the road.

lowering a car= better handling. you know, for taking turns.

Definitely agree with this ! My car is lowered too, and I love driving it, possibly because I love driving. It's actually the same car ;) but in Nightfire red (burgundy) and white. It changes a lot to drive a car that's lowered - I feel I get a faster response when taking turns and I don't enjoy driving a 'regular' car quite the same. I even 'lowered' the driver's seat as well (and the steering wheel accordingly), because I like to 'feel' the road when I'm driving.
