Deleting Messages

Can someone please tell me an easy way to delete, for example, my inbox messages without opening up each message and deleting each one, one at a time? I do not see a button for delete all. I only see an option to mark all/check all. I am sure there is an easy way to do this and I am just missing it. Thanks! :D

    clik all ..then you go down the page when it says unmark etc change to delete all..and then clik go
    you will delete the one in the page..you have to do page by page
