I'll be there, but you have to help me get up for it, I feel so hungover from last night's show in Philly.

Wish I could be there, nothing like seeing a band you love at your hometown venue (plus its the freaking Garden!) but am more than happy I'm seeing them tonight! :D Have a blast at MSG on Sunday!

had to bail. We came down with colds and was just not up for the long drive and the marathon show, just wouldn't be able to enjoy it. Luckily I was able to sell my tickets.

    OMIGOD, JOAN F**KING JETT PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other than that the set list was pretty standard. This was a great show for me in a different way from the IZOD show because I already knew what to expect. They definitely did not disappoint! I spent much less time marveling at Dave Grohl's ridiculous stamina, and more time paying attention to the other members of the band. I LOVE Pat Smear, he's just so happy to be on stage.

Bob Mould made an appearance and was on stage for Dear Rosemary and Breakdown (Tom Petty cover). It was so cool to see him on stage, I had heard he was at the Philly and DC shows so I was hoping he would be at MSG. And right after Bob leaves the stage, JOAN JETT COMES ON!!!!!!!!!!!!! F**K!! And sings BAD REPUTATION. Amazing. Wish they had done another song with her. Or maybe have Bob Mould come back and have a mega jam session. But maybe that's asking too much  All around a fantastic show, probably just as good if not better than IZOD.

I'm pooped. Dunno how I'm going to make it to tomorrow's show in Newark. And I can't believe they are doing this all over again tomorrow. Just have to say as much as this has been fun, I am so thankful for Pearl Jam's changing setlists from night to night, we have definitely been spoiled.

What did everyone else think of the show, especially people who haven't seen them on this tour so far?

PS sorry you didn't make it, rick1zoo2. Probably smart to stay home to nurse the colds.

Thanks! It wasn't quite as epic as the IZOD show for me but mostly because that was the first show I'd seen them in awhile.

Which band comes on first, Joy Formidable or Social D? I am going to the Boston show Wed night and won't be at the venue till about 6 or 6:30. Just want to know if I have time to grab a drink or 2 across the street first. Really want to see Social D bad.
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

    9/29/04 Boston, 6/28/08 Mansfield, 8/23/09 Chicago, 5/15/10 Hartford
    5/17/10 Boston, 10/15/13 Worcester, 10/16/13 Worcester, 10/25/13 Hartford
    8/5/16 Fenway, 8/7/16 Fenway
EV Solo: 6/16/11 Boston, 6/18/11 Hartford,

Joy Formidable, then Social D. Official start time at MSG was 7:30. Not sure what time Joy Formidable came on, but Social D was on stage around 8:15, and then Foo Fighters around 9:30.

I think for all the other shows that have had a 7:00 start time, Joy Formidable came on at or even slightly before 7:00, Social D at 8:00 and Foos at 9:00. Something like that.

Oh, and they have city specific shirts (but no tour dates on the back). I didn't notice them until someone mentioned on the Foo board. The New York ones sold out so if you want a Boston shirt you might want to pick that up on your way into the show. Shirts were all $25, and there was a poster for $10 but it wasn't anything special. Of course I got one anyway.

    Enjoy!

Yeah, the city specific shirts sold out really quickly at most shows I went to...love the two that I managed to get though, they have a very nice comfortable fit!

Did the city specific shirts look the the circular wasting light t shirts? I guess I missed them at the St. Paul show

The Date and Venue are printed inside... where the tag should be. Kind of odd... but, kind of typical for the Foo Fighters.
Glad you got special guests. Foo gigs are fun.

Looks exactly like this Blizzcon shirt, except where it says "Blizzcon 2011" it ways "City, State": I missed it the first show I was at too, or they may have ran out. These don't have tour dates on the back.
