Lost Witings

All things
Are transient she said and
In a flash of time
She was right.

Somewhere
In the mechanical world
Lie my lost thoughts
Lost in the void of binary code.

What did I write and
What did I say?
Did it matter I wonder or
Was it all supposed to go away?

Retrieval is possible
I'm told, By
Diggers of lost code, those
Wizards of diodes.

Masters of data,
What will it be?
Replications of lost thought
Or more work for indemnity?
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.

  • To Friends Along the Tightrope

To speak these words amongst friends and foe
    Appreciators have never been so
Relevant in these days of imminent change,
    Blossoming forth,
Form the realm that I was born to,
    Where ever I walk
    Dear brothers and sisters,
    Mothers and fathers,
    Sons and daughters
    I carry thee and me
    To misty mountain realms
    Where Tesla Tickled and Trickled
    The crystal sound vibrations
Tossed by the wind and river
    Grasshopper crunched underfoot
    Of busy paths unknown
    Indemnity
    Unhurt in a yurt
    Is work
