What do you think the chances are this economic crisis moves the entire globe in the direction of a world government?
Here's a new demo called "in the fire":

  • I know there are conspiracy theories about that sort of thing, but I don't see it being very practical. Maybe it's something that would work in the future when we have flying cars and vacation homes on Mars, but I see so much fighting between so many countries so often (wars and just general bickering about nearly every possible issue) that I don't see how so many nations from all over the world will ever be able to agree on anywhere near enough things to make a world government possible.

No way, dude. I can't take the chance of a Frenchman telling me what to do.

I thought that was the plan all along

I can see one world government by the time my kids are ready to leave this world
they were born in the 80's

The powerful must conquer and have more, it is what drives,
I'm sure somebody or some out there wants to rule the world
    literally, if they aren't already

I too think it would be a very, very, very bad move. But, I think it could happen faster than people realize, and I don't think it's really that unlikely to happen within the next 10-20 years. I mean look at the European Union. I know,... disaster... but, some of the leaders think this current crisis is good reason to blend Europe further... not tear it down.

I'm thinking pieces of a world government will be established within the next 50 years, maybe sooner. This recession/depression could easily be just beginning (and last 10-20 years longer) and a lot could change real fast worldwide if things go down again, which is quite likely.

Not saying this world govt will happen, just providing some reason why it "could" happen.
