can't believe it's been over 5 months... wanted to share my story on this site and say thanks to Ed for allowing music to be special to me
this is what i wrote back in august on another site

I took this picture on August 1st at the Boston Opera House at the end of the Eddie Vedder show.
I had a 7yr old niece who was in the hospital and not doing well. She led a difficult illness filled life but she still had the most amazing smile and touched many people in her short time here.
I took this picture at 10:35. I had this strange fixation with the angels on the ceiling of the Opera House. Especially at the end of the night during Hard Sun. So I took this cell phone pic with tears in my eyes. I always knew she would become an angel and during the song i didn't know for sure that she had passed.
But I guess I did know. And this was her way of telling me that she was ok.
As I walked out of the theater I received the call that she had passed away at 10:10.
Just wanted to share my experience from this night and my love for this amazing little girl who is now an angel. For those of you with children or nieces or nephews... be sure to give em a hug.
Wow-I don't know what to say but must express my awe in the power of your posting. The night was magical and I'll always remember the experience but your experience was cathartic. Whenever I hear ARC I will think of your experience on that warm night in the summer of 08 when EV made the Opera house his.

and you just brought a wow moment to me... actually much more than that
i completely forgot that Arc was played that night... after getting the phone call pretty much everything about the show turned into a blur except for the angels on the ceiling
this led me to wonder what else was played that night that i may not have remembered... I have always wanted to figure out what was being played around 10:10.... so I just found the setlist thread... according to that ... Porch was the song being played at 10:10 when sabrina passed
Porch has always been my favorite PJ song ...

her mom always talks about how amazing it was for her to be in the hospital bed holding her daughter as she passed away....
hopefully people are able to read this and take a step back and see what's really important
i agree 100%
i remember you telling me about this around when it happened..but reading your post just now..it hit harder for some reason..death of a loved one is so sobering..once again my sincerest condolences.
