    hmm....

last couple of years, we had 1K mile drives on the 30th, so by the 31st, i was worn out, and end up in bed by 10pm

i care more about 1/1 than about 12/31
81 is now off the air

hmmm...since that one dude decided to try and bomb the Space Needle during-the celebrations are full of security issues and just not the same. :(

I'll see what other friends are doing, usually they drink so much during the day, they're passed out by 10:30
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

The older I get, the less New Year's really matters to me...a lot of my friends want to do a hotel or cruise or something like that....but I'd be much happier at home with close friends and a couple bottles of very alcoholic spirits!

  • not really sure. I kinda like the idea of getting snookered at home or at a friends house.

The older I get, the less I appreciate all the bullshit that comes with going out for big holidays like NYE. Plus, waaaay cheaper to do it at home or someone else's house.
    Makes much more sense...
