DC - Verizon Center question (foos related)

What time do the shows end there?
The last show I went to there was PJ in '06. PJ started before 9pm, and MMJ's opening seemed cut WAY short, and the show seemed to be over at 11pm on the dot. I know the union regulations, and overtime issues playing past 11pm... but this seemed different. There was speculation that PJ started early so that the show could end right at 11pm, because of the Metro closing at midnight.
The PJ show was on a weekday, and I looked up the Metro schedule, and it indeed closes at midnight.
The Foos show this week is on a Friday night, when the Metro is open later.
I'm coming into DC from out of town to see Foos.
Doors are listed online to be open at 5:30pm
Tickets says 7PM (i assume that's the show start time)
There's two opening acts... and Social D is the first opening act. Typically opening acts get 45 minute sets with a 15 minute set change... So if that's the case:
7:00 Opening act 1
7:45 Set change
8:00 Opening act 2
8:45 Set change
9:00 Foos
But if that's the case, will Foos run into the same 11pm end time? And if so, will Foos do the same thing PJ did, and cut their opening acts short, and start early? There's been reviews that they play for 2.5 to 3 hours...
Was the PJ timing just a fluke because it was a weeknight?
Just confused as it will take me 2-3 hours to get there, and I close work at 6pm. Wanna make sure I see the whole Foos set at least, but I might be getting there right at 9pm.

DEGENERATE FUK
This place is dead
"THERE ARE NO CLIQUES, ONLY THOSE WHO DON'T JOIN THE FUN" - Empty circa 2015
"Kfsbho&$thncds" - F Me In the Brain - circa 2015
Actually I have a new employee and just scheduled him to work that night, so I'll probably get there around 8pm.

I'd be surprised if that's the issue, because an indoor arena is usually pretty insulated for noise. I once had to hold a dB meter outside the hammerstein because of complaints and while you could hear the music, it was still within the "ok" range.
...friday eve, text me your seat location btw.

The last time I saw PJ there (2008)...I'm pretty sure they went past 11...that was a longer show.
If there is a curfew, I guess it will just depend on whether the Foos want to pay the fine
Will do. And yea, I'm sure it's just an excuse. There are some apartments in the surrounding blocks... and DC has some pretty whack ordinances, so who knows.

Section 109 and higher above was completely devoid of direct sound. The sections directly behind the stage and directly on the sides had speakers pointed at them, but if you were on a rear 45 degree angle of the stage, all the sound you heard was what was echoing from the main arena area. I was 80 feet away from the drummer, but I could hear his natural cymbal sounds from his drum kit, and not from the speakers.
Was able to hang with Travelar for a few songs, then I went and got my tickets upgraded, just to anywhere speakers were able to be heard. ...ended up being a second closer from ya.
