Why do Holiday Commercials have to be so extreme

We're 3 weeks shy of Thanksgiving and I'm getting bombarded by Christmas carols, big red bows, jingle bells, red, green and white, and gift wrapping galore.

Just settle down marketers!!!

You can evoke a feeling a the holiday season without stuffing christmas down our throats in a more subtle way.

    I haven't seen any Christmas/Holiday commercials yet to the best of my knowledge. I keep seeing that stupid commercial with the dad playing the dance video game and his kids uploading the video to Facebook, over and over and over and over and over and over. And over again.

    I saw that advert when I was at friends,it was on every time there was an add break,it is awful :evil:

    Mid October one of the 5 star hotels here was festooned with decoration.In the local store there was a Halloween display on one side and a Christmas display on the other.

    The only Christmas adverts I have seen are ones for Christmas holidays to Disneyland :roll:

    Christmas is way to commercial anyways...glad when it's over.

    I know someone who's parents house was decorated 2 weeks ago.

    The only Christmas commercial I've seen so far, and the one I was tired of after the first time I saw it, is for Justin Bieber's Christmas album. Under The Mistletoe

    i'm not saying it's all bad, i just sick of it... growing up my mother started with x-mas music the day after thanksgiving and it didn't stop until new years... it gets boring
