Hey guys I'm looking for some OVER ear headphones (not on ear). I want something with great clarity and dynamic bass. Also looking for ones that cancel noise well. I don't really have much money to spend, looking to stay within the $100-$200 range. just wondering if anyone has any recommendations. Thanks!

I'd recommend checking out some reviews on cnet.com . I wasn't too impressed with the beats headphones - over priced in my opinion - but to each thier own.

If you'd bend towards a pair of in-ear headphones..... the Klipsch S4 are great and I pair them with comply foam tips. The tips are pricey but the headphones never fall out of my ears :)

    Good luck in your search

If you're looking for sound isolation too, I have a pair of the Beyerdynamic 770M.

(not to be confused with the 770 Pro model)

Very good sound isolation since I play drums, and this blocks a good majority of my own noise so I can hear clearly in my small home studio. I haven't done any other listening with them except for playing and minor playback, so I'm just telling you they work well for my purpose as a drummer, and haven't yet used them for regular listening from a reciever or ipod, only from my board. You may want to look up reviews on this model for sound reproduction, and make sure you're looking at a 770M review, not the 770 Pro, though that one may also work for your needs.

There's a Buy It Now for $199, with an option to make an offer. You could probably get them for $175 or so.

...again, do some research on how well it reproduces the frequencies that you want. It works well for me, but I'm using them while playing drums along.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)
