After watching this, I really liked the shot from the 1992 MTV video awards where Eddie and Kurt are embracing each other.

As far as Kids are Twenty goes, "Evil Little Goat" playing over Eddie teases those monkeys is hilarious.

  • I really like when it shows ed playing release by the campfire in the early 90s and then it shows present day ed with the same guitar by the same campfire

I love the scenes at Stone's house:
The dirty coffee cup & Grammy in the Basement
Ed's scream when the guys are practicing "Baba O'Riley" backstage at Lollapallooza is GREAT too!!
But the best for me is the whole "RELEASE" segment...
still brings tears to my eyes EVERYTIME I watch it!!! :ugeek:

Probably Ed getting emotional after talking about Jeff. That was super cool.

The whole Singles party segment was hilarious - especially Ed's story about confusing the sound/lighting people ("Why is it getting brighter in here???"). Great movie.

My favorite moment in PJ20 caught me totally by surprise...about an hour and two minutes in, as Stone is starting to discuss the recording of Vitalogy, there's a shot of two Japanese guys holding up the Vitalogy CD. Their names are Kajino (L) and Tetsuo (R). How do I know? Because I played in a Pearl Jam cover band with them back in 1995 when I was stationed in Japan!

This footage was shot during the '95 tour outside of the Osaka venue Kosei Nenkin Kaikan. I had seen this footage before, from a clip of the "movie not to be named", but to see it make it into PJ20 damn near brought me to tears! I didn't meet them until later that year, but I played a couple of shows with them in '95, and another music festival in 1996 when I went back to visit my wife's family the following year. Maybe I'll post some of our footage on YouTube one day (gotta get the 8mm tapes transferred to digital first!)

I also loved when Ed was on Chris' back while they were singing Hunger Strike.

Its hard to pick one... I thought the film was a masterpiece,
loved the then and now throughout.

The most touching for me was Ed with his fathers picture,
it spoke of the pain and loss, hope and belief and a whole lot of love
for the man he did not have the chance to know.
Although I knew the situation, hearing his words, the tender moment, the honor,
hit me with new a understanding, really made me feel it.

I thought the movie incredible and say thank you all who brought it to us.

this is mine as well. for Ed who seems very private to give us that little glimpse was really beautiful. between this scene with the pic of his dad and when he almost teared up talking about jeff to me were the best moments. very cool and heartfelt moments.
