had scheduled two concerts in Northampton, MA this weekend. The first night he played solo at the Iron Horse and the second night he was to play in his band State Radio at the Calvin Theatre. The first night went without a hitch (his drummer (Mike Najariana) actually opened playing mostly 90's music in which he tagged W.M.A. which I thought was cool) but the second night was cancelled last minute as the Calvin lost power. The reason for this post is that Chad came out onto the sidewalk in a Nor'easter and played an impromptu acoustic mini set for the people standing in line waiting for the power to possibly come on. If you don't know Chad Stokes (though many do through Dispatch) check out his solo and State Radio music out. Not only is his music good, he is also a real good person.
