  • I'm sorry we don;t say goodbye....

We hate goodbyes... it suggests the night is going to end(read: drinking is going to end)

Cropdustress: I expected to see you at the Berlin gig... so we parted in berlin Hauptbahnhof... I'm sorry. It just means we'll have to meet in Amsterdam or Croatia.

Caz.... we were meant to go to the meet up in Milan, but by the tim we got there it was closed.....

Not our fault... there is never goodbyes... just new hellos to look forward to.

kindof makes me think of the beatles :-)

  • Just thought i'd share this story with you about our experience in prague.
The members of our band "Reed Stone Overboard" went over to see Pearl Jam cos we didnt fancy the festivals,Rich,DaveRob and me Dom(Louichicks Fella) in all.
We got to prague the nite before and as usual spent it gettin wrecked,Then in the mornin changed our hotel to 1 near the airport.
We slept til the early aftrnoon due to the nite before and met up just outside the hotel with another pint on some picnic tables,We were talking the usual crap bout the night before etc,When Rich made the observation that there was a black windowed people carrier behind me and would'nt it be good if pearl jam were to walk out to it. As he had been telling me for a week that "theres a good chance we could see them at the airport".I told him to leave it and stop going on,After a couple of minutes there was a couple of huge security guards hanging around, and then rich piped up "it is aswell" as he got up to walk over with us all following,
Eddie was good enough to agree to talk with us when the bouncer had told us to sit back,We gave him a demo of our band and he gave us a E.V pick each,
Mike was a Legend and spoke with us like we had known him forever,About the Astoria etc,
Then Eddie asked if we had any song requests for the nite.
Rich chose Alone which would have been my choice so i didnt reply,
Dave chose Unemployable and You are and Eddie wrote birmingham uk on the list of songs(where we are from).
When they played everyone we were amazed when the songs were all played,
Well the whole experience was unreal.
Think there is a picture i took of Eddie writing the songs down in a notepad on our Myspace.

I had to have those stickers scanned, because one of my mates lost his during our flight back home. Someone had opened every zipper of his backbag and of course the stickers are now floating in the air somewhere between Prague and Helsinki (or morelikely are stuck on some Ruzyne Airports personnel's lockerdoor).

How annoying, I hate it when your bag gets rummaged through, it's so frustrating.

well it's not interesting but just so you know, the czech comment says:
A flask of wine for courage & against cold, repeat czech words and hurrah to Sazka Arena - that is what Eddie Vedder was like on friday evening. In the end, everything worked out great and the prague audience was lying at Pearl Jam's feet. Grunge is said not to be dead.

Czech-out if you can find yourself on my videoclips. At least one polish girl is pretty recognisable with the flag on her shoulders.

ps. it really sucks that my digitalcamera doesn't allow more than 30 s of filming at a time...
