Nice cover of Black. Not sure if it has been mentioned here or not but definately worth a listen

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoSIjbRV ... re=related

few lyrics changed here and there like "I know you'll be a star..." to "I know you'll be a sun"
and also "why can't it be mine" to "why can't it be love"
"this is Eddie saying I am a rhinoceros and my skin is 2 feet thick"

    Hmmm...

I've always pretty much written off Slipknot as being one-dimensional and gimmicky. Maybe I should rethink that.

Corey Taylor is a pretty talented dude overall.

Slipknot's IOWA album is one of my personal favorites.....vocals are unreal.

I've seen YouTube videos of him cover this before, always think it's a great cover. After the first time I heard him cover it, definitely made me give him more credit as an artist. Speaking of, was looking at the related videos and who knew he does a pretty awesome cover of the Foos' Everlong (even if he messes it up a little)?!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yO-w34gRZwg&feature=related

Also what do ya know? He does a pretty awesome Ray LaMontagne cover: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkVqREIxmTM Pretty sweet, as Ray and Slipknot couldn't be more different!!

Huge fan of both Slipknot and obviously PJ. How can you not like them both? Anyway, he actually covers Black with Stone Sour as early as in -96, forward to 16:20. I liked it alot. Corey's done some nice covers in his days. Eddie should do Duality.

I will definitely check out his solo stuff. I love his tone, just as with the other grunge greats I find him unique. It's great to know how they influenced a guy like him, and what came of it. Awesome intro of nutshell btw, I also like this Lithium cover > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTGu33OejTA
