I watched a couple episodes of this.

It's nuts what some of those drivers are willing to do!! Straight up certifiable.

I work in logistics, so I have an interest in things like this that show some of the what of the industry entails. I found, however, the show itself followed the typical TV formula, and needed drama. When there wasn't enough to be found, they created it.

How many arguments between a driver and his or her dispatcher do you need?

  • I watched it last season and it was pretty awesome. The whole time I was like "no way would they show it if they did fall off that ledge" but there was still plenty of times I was like OH SHIT!

yup...saw one of the newer episodes on the Death Road....one of the drivers (that was a navigator at the time) climbed out through the roof & "truck surfed" while the truck was about 2 inches from the edge. what an idiot. wow.
    I LOVE MUSIC.

Crazy show... That Death Road is crazy.. I'm not sure I could do it.

On a side note, I'm happy that Dave quit this season. I was getting tired of listening to that dude whine about how he has no friends, and how he's not there to make friends.

I watched the season of them in Alaska - I loved it! I love driving anyway and I'd have a go at driving on those roads no bother!

i wouldn't walk on those roads let alone drive a shitty well used piece of Volvo bullshit maintained by jungle mechanics where things are wired together and monkey shit

that polar bear driver guy is going to die, i think
he says he drives fast and he kinda does on those roads
poor guy isn't all there upstairs i'm afraid
hopefully he doesn't have a wife and kids
i thought he was nuts on ice road truckers and all with no sleep and just brutal
this Bolivia mountainous jungle stuff and him are ridiculous
but he is a real truck driver, i've met lots of him out there
the business end of driving makes a guy a bit testy
